I started this network as a social network to make friends and will continue it as such for the most part but i like meeting new people and who knows from there.
My personality is a reflection of the duality of life. Simply stated I'm a laid back neurotic.
I consider myself an open-minded individual who is still a little vanilla.

I love analyzing things for intimate details. I'm the gal you don't want to walk behind because I will stop randomly to smell a flower, look at a cloud, or notice how the stain on the sidewalk reminds me of a painting I once saw.
I have an idealistic heart and a realistic mind which often puts me at odds end in most situations rather than creating balance. I'll make a task list not to get everything done on that list but to feel accomplished with knowing my responsibilities and to give my memory a break. I'm visual.
One of my favorite things to experience is sitting outside in the rain. In those moments all five senses are challenged. Seeing things out of context and put into a new perspective is something I will always appreciate. Sometimes I take things too far.
I love Tetris more than any video game ever created. To Understand where and how things fit is interesting to me and i like to think more so about when and why that will occur. I'm a color/design nerd bleed into fashion and other creative crafties. I've got the curves that make all the straight lines jealous.

I am currently-on hold- triple majoring in studio art,education,and art history at Indiana University. Two classes till completion and add some student teaching. After all is said and done I'm going to attempt an Art Therapy degree to make it all work together. The other half of my life is absorbed by working with developmentally disabled individuals; helping people gain independent living skills. Although I long to be a derby girl.. My time is devoted to two softball leagues. Outside of that I enjoy a rock n' roll show just as much as an art show and venture to the local bookstore with any given chance. I also enjoy board games. Scrabble is a favorite but anything that challenges the mind I'm game (pun intended).

*Books:C.Palahniuk and A.Burroughs are my favorite authors at the moment. I also enjoy Chopin,Kerouac,Steinbeck and Hesse and books that advocate reformers, mavens, artists and communicators. I've recently become fascinated with reading a lot of the classics.
*TV: Lost, Red Dwarf, What not to Wear, Shin Chan, Family Guy, ATHF, Mr. Show, Arrested Development,Project Runway, Sometimes Golden Girls.
*Movies that reflect rebellious teenage antics; Ferris Bueller, Breakfast Club ( other movies with Molly Ringwald). I also enjoy most anything with John Cusack or young Anthony Michael Hall and have come to enjoy Paul Rudd and Michael Keaton (in his days of Batman and Beetlejuice). The indie flicks such as Garden State, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, The Royal Tenenbaums and Running with Scissors. I love gore so Horror must be included whether it is of the zombie kind, serial killer or psychological: Silence of the Lambs, Misery, Dawn of the Dead. Lastly the super heroes; Batman over Superman, Spiderman,X-men, I even enjoy Hellboy. I have a very strong dislike for movies where Dolls kill people, especially Chucky.
*Music: i've been listening a lot to mumford & sons, florence & the machines, The black keys, Margot and the nuclear so and so's, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeroes, ben harper, allison kraus/robert plant collaberation, the avett brothers....i also enjoy Johnny Cash, Joan Jett, Damien Rice, The Bangles, Blondie, The Cars, Billy Joel, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, The Clash, The Bad Brains,Old Weezer,Mars Volta,Sex Pistols,Fugazi,Guitar Wolf, Tool, The Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The Shins..More 80's Pop, More Punk Rock, More Classic Country.
*Food is quite simple. I am a vegetarian but not a hater to the meat-eaters, I believe in personal choice. I enjoy most italian food, Eggplant Parmesan being tops right now.
