Figured it was time to update this section. I'm an bankruptcy attorney at Clark & Washington in Knoxville, TN. You meet a lot of interesting people doing this work, but also help a lot of people who need financial relief. I enjoy my job and the people I work with, so that's always a plus!

I'm a geek,; I like sci/fi, fantasy, comic books, anime, and all that, but I keep myself balanced with cooking, nonfiction, friends, etc. I've wanted to write and go to culinary school at different points of my life, but those never worked out. I'm probably too quiet at times, but c'est la vie.

If there's a thunderstorm, i can be found near the window watching the rain fall to the ground and the sky light up, illuminating everything....especially at night. I'm not one for clubs, but I do enjoy a good pub and some live music. Beer dinners, wine dinners, and festivals are a lot of fun to go too. I'm even into conventions focusing on a wide array of topics.

Sportswise, I enjoy watching football; Tennessee Vols and Arizona Cardinals (so close to winning the super bowl, alas!).
I enjoy the opera, musicals, and the theater. I want to go to more museums and enjoy what they have to offer. I support same sex marriage.

I am easy going, happy, and somewhat sarcastic

Moving up the bankruptcy ladder. I'm the Chapter 7 court attorney for our firm now, so I handle a lot of trustee meetings and whatnot. I also tend to make culinary creations for my parents on the weekends. From braised short rib pot pies, to quails stuffed with italian sausage stuffing, to fried gator po boys, to a low country shrimp boil, to...yeh I like to cook haha i also make a number of cheesecakes.

being me! ha Other than that, i'm pretty good at baking and cooking in general as long as I have a cookbook. I make a good cheesecake and soon plan on making some red velvet cake. I'm good at stockpiling books to read at some future date;this does become problematic at times, but gives me plenty of options in my free time. I'm good at procrastination, but most people are. I'm also a good listener.

I'm quiet? I smile? I probably blink too much? That i'm plotting world domination? Wait.

Books: I'm currently reading All the Presidents Men. I also enjoyed the Omnivore's Dilemma. I enjoy the following authors; Kim Harrison, Christopher Moore, R.A. Salvatore, Stephen King, Neil Gaimon, Orson Scott Card, and Bruce Campbell. I'll read a bit of anything really if I think it may be interesting.

Movies: 9, Role Models, The Messenger, Hellboy 1 and 2, LOTR, Star Wars, Memento, Princess Bride, Juno, Evil Dead movies, Zombie Films, Vampire Films, VERY BAD films when the mood hits me and i want to laugh, Fight Club, the Alien series, Kill Bill, Die Hard, Goonies, Labyrinth, Nightmare Before Christmas, Serenity, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Nolan's Batman trilogy, Tropic Thunder, Step Brothers, Dredd, Shawshank Redemption, Fast Six, Avengers, Serenity, Cabin in the Woods and many more

TV: Of the shows currently on i enjoy Game of Thrones, Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Psych, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Warehouse 13 and more. Off the air? I'm a big Joss Whedon fan, so Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly are all fantastic and dearly missed. I also miss BSG and Lost.

Food: I love trying new foods whenever I can. I adore Sushi of all kinds. I've eaten Haggis. A deep fried mars bar is a heartattack on a stick. I enjoy Ethiopian and Afghan restaurants along with the usual Chinese, Italian, and Steakhouses. An Indian buffet can make me happy any day of the week.

Opera, plays, etc! Other nights, I'm just hanging with friends. Really, I'd be up for anything at least once!

I at one time weighed 325 pounds, yikes! Yay for willpower and exercise!
