I brought the scone to Kabul and the Arnold Palmer to Amman, Jordan. Now I wouldn't mind finding another small business owner to advise on matters outside the scope of my experiences and qualifications.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

One of my first jobs was editing the daily crime reports for a newspaper in Kuwait. Everyday there were stories about people who got stuck in a broken elevator. Since it was Kuwait that meant the fans and AC went out and the elevators could get well over 120 degrees. Some people would get stuck in these elevators so long that they'd more or less sweat to death. The worst part is that the newspaper always told you what floor they were trying to go to in the elevator. People died because they didn't want to walk up just 2 flights of stairs. So, I'd really never want to sweat to death in an elevator and leave my family saying, "Why didn't he just take the stairs? He was only going to the second floor."
