My self-summary
I like to think of myself as an introvert who's converted to extroversion. I used to be shy, reserved, and not open to new things. Now, however, all I wanna do is be everywhere doing everything and talking to everyone. All the things.

Personality-wise, I'm pretty laid back. It takes a LOT to get me angry, and it's hard for me to hold grudges. I just like being able to get along with people. I like both staying in homebody style AND going out on Chicago adventures; a balance of both makes life that much more enjoyable.

I'm a big fan of bad puns, bad movies, and good YouTube channels. I love video games, but I generally only really play them with other people. I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy and podcasts and easily listen to them more than music.

What else...Media buff. Feminist. Punsmith. Superhero-lover. I'm also the owner of the most perfect cat in existence. And I can back it up. She's back in the suburbs and I miss her!
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from DePaul a year ago where I majored in Communications, double minored in Psych (not the show, I WISH though) and Spanish, and completed their honors program.

I work at a small plastics office as a sales/order manager. I do a little of everything: order processing, driving/delivering, shipping, research, or whatever else is helpful. I get to work with my friend and help out my dad (who runs it) so it's quite nice. I've got a lot of media ideas I want to make and put out there, and 2014 is going to be the year I attack those.
I’m really good at
Making all of the puns out of ANYTHING, determining voice actors of animated characters, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and hugging.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor, that I look like Cameron Frye without the jersey, how many puns I make
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: John Dies at the End and its sequel, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, The Prism Pentad series , The Phantom Tollbooth, Harry Potter, Epic, Saga, Scott Pilgrim series, Atomic Robo comics

Tv shows: to avoid a laundry list, I'm going to talk about shows recently/timelessly important to me. Scrubs is my go to favorite and never gets old. Community is one of the smartest and sharpest comedies out there. Broad City and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are two very new and extremely funny shows I'm loving, and Archer is fucking Archer. For more serious stuff? Orange is the New Black, Firefly, and Misfits. Strong characters in great worlds sell me.

Movies: Oh...I like a lot of "good" movies. Most anything Mel Brooks, various documentaries, Pixar/Disney movies, Star Wars, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World...and Godzilla movies!
However, I particularly love "so bad it's good" like The Room, Birdemic, and others. Especially when I get to share them.

Music: Trust me. You listen to more music than I do. It's not very important to me and I'd much rather be listening to the new free podcast I got the other day than I song I've heard before. More power to the music nerds and I'm definitely not going to be an ass about it, just please don't yell at me anymore if I'm not yelling at you haha. On that note: Queen, Lady Gaga, early Katy Perry, Pink, Bo Burnham, Scott Bradlee/Postmodern Jukebox, The Protomen, The Megas, Ninja Sex Party..basically pop, classic rock, or weird geek things

Food is boring so...Video Games: Zelda, Pokemon!, Smash Bros, Kirby, Mario, most Nintendo honestly....Saints Row, Terraria/Starbound, Kingdom Hearts, Phantasy Star Online, City of Heroes (RIP), Monster Hunter, Guild Wars 2, any co-op game I'm generally gonna be all over. I love co-op. Also a proud Wii U owner, you should play this amazing console.
The six things I could never do without
Oh fine...no order

1. Friends
2. Car
3. Phone
4. Games
5. Laptop/Internet
6. Podcasts yayyyy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Me, my life, the people in it, what I'm doing with it, and pointless stuff. And intersectional feminism/how I can be a better ally.

Or geeky things.

Ok, mostly why I can't find Lemonade Sunkist in stores anymore because it's like my crack. And my dealer is MIA.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday night is when my favorite improv in the city happens, so I obviously love being at that. Other plans can steal me, however, as I'm a sucker for cool bars, delicious restaurants, or even game nights inside with friends. If I have a weekend where I get to find a new Chicago gem, I'm happy. I'm even happier if I'm not doing it alone...*coughcough*
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a sex positive feminist/ally who is a total nerd about everything to do with sexuality. Oh wait, this is supposed to be for PRIVATE stuff? I wear this right on my sleeve and I'm really hoping I don't have to explain what it means.

Sometimes I play Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love" in the shower because if I showered through the whole song, it's been 12 minutes and I should get my ass moving
