*side note* if I viewed your profile and didn't write you, that
doesn't necessarily mean I'm not interested...I may have not had
enough time to write a thoughtful message, I may have drawn a blank
on something cute and clever to say (rare, but it happens ;))
I am a paradox.
Emotional and logical.
Artistic and intellectual.
Sweet and sarcastic.
Wise and naive.
Independent and doting.
Flirty and innocent.
City girl that loves country gentility.
Nerdy and social.
Strong and feminine.
Extroverted and introspective.
Bluntly honest and sentively empathetic.
A chatterbox and an excellent listener.
Extremely mature and youthfully exuberant.
Stubborn and forgiving.
Modern and traditional.
I will challenge you and spoil you.
I am complex and sometimes difficult but totally worth it.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as a marketing rep, specifically a designer liaison, for an
international stone company. Trying to improve our marketing
methods and strategies while focusing on building strong
relationships with a multitude of architecture and design
professionals. I'm also trying to balance work with a fun but I'm
kind of a workaholic. So if you want to do something fun and get me
to forget about work for a while, I'd LOVE to hear from you!
I’m really good at
listening and advising
. . . .
The first things people usually notice about me
Lately, I've been getting a lot of compliments on my smile so I
guess maybe that's one of them. Also definitely how tall I am I'm
like 5' 11 1/2" but that's without shoes...and I tend to actually
stand up straight which many people don't do...so I seem about
Also my snarky sense of humor ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books-I read a lot as a kid but unfortunately, I don't much
anymore. I loved the Ender's series by Orson Scott Card, Harry
Potter, and A Separate Peace. When I got to college I enjoyed
Dante's Divine Comedy, Crime and Punishment, and the Education of
Movies-Ender's Game, The Young Victoria, Iron Man, Star Trek, She's
the Man, The Bourne Series, Princess Diaries, Aladdin, The Princess
Bride, Monty Python and the Quest for Holy Grail, The Emperors New
Groove, Legally Blond, Boondock Saints...all sorts of Disney
movies, chick flicks, movies that make you think and some action
Shows-Castle, 2 Broke Girls, Dracula, Elementary, The Big Bang
Theory, NCIS, How I Met Your Mother, Once Upon a Time, Psych,
Friends, White Collar, Will and Grace, Boy Meets World.
Music-I like a lot of types of music. I mostly listen to country
and hits. I also like chill music a la Michael Buble, Maroon 5, and
Jason Mraz. I still listen to 90s music sometimes cuz it's just
Food-I could never be a vegetarian. I love meat: chicken, beef,
pork, turkey, fish...I love barbecue and chinese food. I also have
a big sweet tooth. You know ladies love chocolate.
The six things I could never do without
Of course, I couldn't function normally without my friends and
family, phone and computer but that's implied, I wanted to put
something more unique.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
creative solutions to problems
Everyone always puts "the future" here...I think about the future
sometimes, but I'm far more likely to be thinking about one of the
things above or some combination of them. I'm trying to just let go
and live to the fullest in the present. The future will work out if
you do the best you can with the now.
On a typical Friday night I am
at a party, on a date, at the theatre, out with friends, working,
chilling at home, out of town, totally depends on what's going on!
There's no such thing as a "typical Friday night!"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have strong sense of smell, and smell is the strongest sense tied
to memory, so I'm kind of obsessed with smelling good. At the very
least not smelling bad but smelling as good as possible whenever I
can. On the same token, bad smells are a huge turn off and I'm
instantly more attracted to someone that smells good.
