My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Christian man that is earnestly trying to live a life pleasing to God. I'm kinda hoping < insert sarcasm here> that He has a woman set aside for me as He continues to work in my life. Me being single for so long, I have found it can be a full-time job & very tempting to just live for the moment. So I'm trying to place dating in it's right perspective. I also have two teenage kids that have a hard time believing that I was once a teenager.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a former Marine that's gone from slinging a rifle for 13 years. I've been working my way towards my second career in life (criminal justice). I also stay pretty faithful to my fitness goals as well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like to organize & come up with ways to improve things. Doc says it's only a minor disorder. Okay, so as you can tell, humor is something I'm not good at. But I do love dancing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My butt & chest!
What? I was just copying what some women put on here. Actually, it would probably be that I'm short for a guy. I bet you're going to look at my height now.

I guess the Bible would have to fall in here. For the most part, I read it on a daily basis. I'm more of the self help book kind. Anything from "His Needs Her Needs" to fitness, to history.
I'm not much of a television watcher. But I am fond of a character in NCIS. As a Marine, I find the patriotism tear-jerking. I was in the Marine Corps for 13 years, & it is the most wonderful feeling in the world to be a part of something like that. On a more personal note, Mark Harmon's character is exactly what I would want to be. He was a proud & successful Marine that moved on to continue his duty for his country as a federal agent. Just his reserved no nonsense character adds to his physical attractiveness.
Music is something that I'm rather passionate about because I have such a love for dancing. So I can appreciate any music that I can dance to.
As far as food, I like anything...especially my Aunt Nita's lasagna. I'm not a health nut, but I know the benefits of eating right.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
God's direction
My kids
I guess everything past that are just wants, hopes, and desires.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about my kids & how I am as a dad. In five to ten years, what will my kids have to say about their dad?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
not doing what I was doing 10 years ago.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I laugh so hard in my sleep that I wake myself up.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
An empty shell of beautiful looks & figure certainly can not make a guy happy. But I'm a firm believer that you HAVE to be physically attracted to the that special one you plan on spending the rest of your life with. On the other hand, I am very attracted to a woman that is intelligent, confident (not cocky), slightly reserved, & full of character. I would love to meet a woman that knows she has it together & not still playing with drama. Many people say that they hate drama, but doesn't seem to know what causes it. As you ease into an exclusive relationship from dating, I think the most important thing is being open & honest. Dating multiple people at the same time is a thing of the past by then & caring for someone other than just yourself should be a priority. I mean you are working on creating a relationship where you are putting that other person before yourself. If that's not the goal, there are plenty of sex & casual dating sites where you can find someone to have a fling with. Coasting through, just doing what feels comfortable doesn't cut it. There's this thing called the "love bank" and you better be putting in more deposits than withdrawals. Both should be striving to outdo the other in showing their dedication & love for them.
