My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy so much about life it is hard to sum up who I am. I enjoy music a lot, so I go to a lot of live shows. I also play and write music myself. I play guitar and mandolin. My music is an alternative folk/country sound. Every year I go Wheatland. It is something I look forward to all year.
I am into photography too. However with the growth of digital over the last few years I have kind have slowed down with that. I have had my own studio and have managed multiple locations for a natural chain.
I really love exploring new places. I have worked in 43 states. My two favorite places would have to be Texas and NYC, as different as they are. I have lived in Michigan most my life but I have also lived in Palm Beach. After touring the country I have to say there is no place I rather live then right here in Grand Rapids.
I am a big tigers fan. There is probably nothing hotter to me then a gal in tigers gear talking about baseball. That or a girl that can sing along with Yoakam or Hank III.
My friends describe me as funny, thoughtful, and loyal. They also say I am full of surprises. I say life is weird.
I am interested in lots of things. I really enjoy leaning new things. So I am quick to explore anything that comes along.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Like most people my age, I am working. I love my job. I work for a great company.
Now that I have stepped back from photography, I have been working on some new music projects. Over the last two years I have found my voice and I am exploiting it for what it is worth.
I also do volunteer work in my free time at a nature center and for the American Legion (which I am a member of).
