My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just a wishful piano player stuck in a marketing guys mind. I have been lucky to have experienced living and working in the music business. Met lifelong friends from my time in radio, advertising and marketing. Blessed with three amazing daughters and very cool friends. I am a political junkie with a comedic edge. I appreciate Jon Stewart. I prefer to get my news from real reporters (let's keep this internet free of corporate interference)and not big business sponsored pr machines like Fox. Am I the only one who finds it interesting that foreign interest own more Fox stock than anyone? I enjoy witnessing the hypocrisy and smugness of the anti-American right wing nuts and the ineptitude of the other side. How do they get away with this stuff?

I love live music from the concert halls to the dive bars.

As might have surmised, I am passionate, outspoken, and funny. One last observation...why is it that there are so many people who claim to look younger than their age really just look their age? Are egos really that fragile to start a relationship on an untruth? One of my quirky things on my wish list...must love soccer. Most of the world gets this right.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having a ball most of the time. I get to work with people I like in a business that does make a difference. Currently starting another venture that could very well end the debate of paper or plastic. It's not finding the cure for cancer but it could be the cure for plastic waste. My three daughters are all in college and well on their way to a fulfilling life journey. Literally what am I doing this moment? Hoping to create a relationship from which dreams are made. And listening to Elvis Costello's Sulfur to Sugarcane.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Marketing. Ideas come fairly easily. This has translated very well in writing, product development, building a couple of houses and even coaching soccer. I very good at laughing. And I am really good at kissing (well i like it a lot and would like to practice more).
The first things people usually notice about me

you mean besides the striking resemblance to (insert your biggest heart throb here)? Seriously, most comment on my eyes (when not wearing these blasted glasses), my laugh and my voice. Mostly, the look when I am just happy to be there.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Stupid White Men. Rush Limbaugh is a Bit Fat Idiot. Wow I guess it has been a while since I read a complete book. I am most reading great articles and short stories

Movies: Which genre? What decade? I can find good art or fun in most but there are some stinkers.

TV Shows: Curb Your Entusiasm. Californication, Dexter, Spectacle with Elvis Costello, Letterman, and Keeping up with the Kardashians (kidding on this one), Daily Show, Ed Schultz. Guilty pleasure: Jeopardy, Two and a Half Men; How i met Your Mother.

Music: Elvis Costello followed by a lot of other amazing singer/songwriters like Springsteen, Dylan, Morrison. A great guitar can still send shivers up my spine (thanks Carlos, Erik, Lindsey, etc). Recently I have become a little more country thanks to Zack Brown, Miranda Lambert, Billy Carrington. And I can always make time for a little Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and Wayon & Willie. Saw a band I used to work with a few years ago...The Tubes. Such a fun band and under rated.....they rocked Yoshi's!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My daughters
Lake Tahoe
My BBQ grill
Fresh Food
A Fine Cabernet to share
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The moment. I can find inspiration in almost anything. I do get annoyed at bad and unsafe drivers. Wing-nuts drive me a little crazy so I like to think of ways to return the favor. Most interestingly I spend a lot of time thinking about cake! Does cake really mean cake? It's my secret.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Looking for that perfect glass of cab. Or getting ready to hit the road to anywhere. Sometimes, it's just staying home, grilling something good and spicey, and watching a good movie & Bill Maher. What I would like to look forward to is that first hug and that first kiss of the evening.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

hmmmm. I really do well in public events but just am not very good at this dating thing. Care to be my mentor?

you believe in love (thx Huey Lewis), believe every kiss is special; appreciate Elvis Costello, soul music, etc
Can tolerate my lust for soccer, my passion for politics and allow me one plate of onion rings once a year without judging; understand that whoever invented cake was a god. And soon will understand my many definitions of "cake." There it is again.
