Hey!

I recently signed up for OKCupid in hopes of meeting new people and seeing where it takes me, so I'll take this box (conveniently labelled 'self-summary') to introduce myself.

I'm a straightforward guy, a fiercely loyal friend and a generally fun guy to be around. I'm passionate about my interests, which include a graphic fiction, sci-fi, film, video games, anime and the like. As you can probably tell, I have a tendency towards geekery and you definitely get extra points if you're into similar stuff. Still love the old Transformers cartoons? Enjoy discussing the finer points of DC vs Marvel? Count Bruce Campbell among your heroes? If so, we should get along famously! And if not, well, there is more to me than Geek-media!

I'm always up for a new adventure and I love spending time with friends and making new ones. The world is an awesome place and while I'm still working to find my way through it, the journey's a big part of the fun!

Right now, my long term goals are still a bit of a mystery to me. But to try and figure it out I'm taking Film Studies classes at Concordia. I spent some time as a lit student, but now I feel I've found my true passion

I also write for a few local websites, mostly about film.

Geeky trivia. Or trivia in general. I'm a great partner to have for board games and the occasional "Trivia Night".

Creativity! I know you can't be 'good' at something as subjective as creativity, but I've got a big imagination and I'm always working on new ideas for art and writing.

Listening. I'm a great listener and I genuinely LOVE to hear people talk about the things they're passionate about, or lend an ear to a friend in need.
