I am creative, compassionate, and intelligent.

My Self-Summary

Hi there! Thanks for looking at my information. I'm 26 and married to Calamantra, and living in a nice house by ourselves.

I love to meet new people so if you're just looking for a friend as well, that's great! I can chat about almost every subject, since I have a mind that people have called "Trivia memory". I remember lots of stuff from almost every subject from Ancient Greek to Music to Zoology.

I'm agnostic, he's atheist, but we don't mind people who are religious, as long as it isn't their main thing in life. We both like going out to eat, playing computer games, reading, and role playing. I like reading more than he does, however.

We also like doing outdoor things as well, although we don't do them as often as we would like. Hiking, camping, etc. We also really like museums and things like that when we get the chance. I love going to farmers markets as well.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying to work on my novel. It's kind of slow going since I keep getting discouraged, thinking no one's going to be interested in it, or it's not going to sell well, or whatever.

It's so hard to find beta readers, it seems, who actually want to read the dratted thing.

I've also been trying to lose weight. And don't tell me I look fine in my pictures, I chose those *because* they flatter me! I know how much I weigh, and want to change that. It's unhealthy. But I'm not going to lose ALL my curves.

Me and my husband are actually wanting do do a polyamorous relationship with the right person or persons. We're *not* interested in casual stuff, since we'd rather have a polyamory (poly) relationship. We're looking for friends first, maybe more later. We want someone we can get emotionally attached to, NOT F*** buddies. Trust, communication, and understanding are very important to us.

I’m really good at

Cooking. I love to cook, and I've been told I can make some really nice dishes. People seem to really like my chili, and spaghetti sauce.

I'm also really good at role playing (or so I've been told) although I've never played D&D. I've been told my writing is really good, although I keep thinking it isn't, heh.

I've also been told I'm good at going off on a tangent.

Oh, and computers. We love computer games.

The first things people usually notice about me

Well, I have to admit the first thing people would notice about me is that I'm overweight (to give a hint. I want to work on this though. But I never plan on being super skinny. I like having curves.

I'd have to say the second thing people notice about me is my breasts. I got measured once, and they said I had a 38 I. That's... pretty big. I even had a random stranger tell me that he couldn't help staring at my breasts. Go me, I guess?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

For books, I have a ton of favorite authors, including Terry Pratchett, Simon R. Green, and Tom Clancy. I also like some of Edgar Allen Poe's stuff, and I'll try almost any author once. I liked one of the Agatha Christie novels I have, And Then There Were None. So far I've only read one Dean Koontz novel, but I did like it. I'm a very prolific reader, and can usually finish a 300 page novel in a day, if I can just sit down and read.

I've also been reading a few manga series, but not too many. Fruits Basket is my favorite, although I also like Chibi Vampire and Monster.

I like lots of different movies, depending on my mood. I don't really care too much about genre, as long as it's good. I love B-movies in general, though. Some of my favorite movies are V for Vendetta, Grave of the Fireflies, Mystery Men, The Gods Must Be Crazy, Schindler's List, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Enemy Mine, and Alien.

We both have a very eclectic taste in music. We pretty much like some of everything, except rap, and reggae. We like just a couple Death Metal songs, so it's very low on our list, but we have several of every other category in the playlist we listen to at home.

The six things I could never do without

I'm not really into personal possessions, but I would still want to keep my stuff if I had the choice. I'm a geek and I like my things!

It would be hard to replace my computer, and things like that, but I think this gears more toward a more materialistic outlook on life and such like that. If they were going to do a hypothetical question, why not "What's your favorite hypothetical question you like asking people, and what's your answer to it?"

Then mine would be "What super power would you want to have?" Mine would be shapeshifting. That would be so neat, and very powerful with the right creative mindset.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Lots of different things. My mind can go a thousand miles a minute. I like asking hypothetical questions, also because it helps me get to know people.

I think up random situations, and what would happen in them. My mind can be very strange that way. Like going to a mall food court, and imagining a movie fight scene breaking out. Or a musical.

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably goofing off. I don't drink, and I'm really terrible at dancing/singing, so we don't go to bars or clubs.

We play Unreal Tournament, or lots of other games on the PC. When we are doing something out of the house, it's things like bowling. watching a movie, or doing activities with other people.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Well, for me, "willing to admit" sounds like "Something you wouldn't normally tell people" which, for me, isn't much. I'm very open and easy to talk with (at least, in my mind!) and I usually answer pretty much anything. So if you want to know things, I'm free to ask.

The most I'm willing to say here (mainly because people don't tend to ask) is that I'm trying to get a collection of unusual plush toys (so far I have an opossum, an armadillo, and a scorpion, among others) along with my weaponry collection.

You should message me if

I haven't scared you off yet. And especially if you're interested in what you've read here.

If you're interested in trying to be friends/have a relationship, and not going to disappear or flake out on us. Being busy is fine; never responding to any IMs or emails, and never seeing us again? That's not okay.

Because of self-esteem issues (and because I've been burned by a lot of people pretty much most of my life), I'm really bad at sending the first message to someone, no matter how interesting I think they are... I can talk and talk and talk until everyone leaves and I'm still talking... but I'm almost always not the one that initiates the conversation. So if you think I sound interesting, give me a message. I might have talked myself out of messaging you...

Like I said, I love to chat with people, and make friends, so don't hesitate to message me if you are interested in talking.
