My Self-Summary

I am very into dogs, pit bulls especially. I used to do a lot of pit bull rescue but got burnt out and now just mostly volunteer with a local woman who does rescue. I own one pit bull.
I work as a personal assistant for a woman who owns a construction company, plumbing company and tile retail business, she and I have been friends for over 15 years.
I have many friends I grew up with and tend to keep my friends in my life, I rarely burn bridges.
I used to be a pretty bad girl, but have mellowed out in the last few years, I spent quite some years in prison (just putting it out there) and although I tend not to take crap off anyone, I'm usually quite serene these days. I don't drink or do drugs.

What I’m doing with my life

I recently quit smoking but don't mind when my friends smoke around me, I just woke up one day and couldn't breathe, so I quit. I used to work out religiously about 10 yrs ago and would like to start again, but haven't really found the motivation so far.

I’m really good at

I have quite a few published pieces of poetry and one non-fiction book, not to mention several manuscripts lying around that I need to type up. I used to write daily, almost frantically - I don't write so much any more, not quite sure why.

Fave Books - Forever, Pillars of the Earth, Ahab's Wife, Post Secret

Fave Movies - 300, Heat, Snatch, Bittersweet Harvest - mostly drama, I like horror movies too.

Fave Food - I love italian (I can cook), breakfast for dinner, I love going out to eat at the Palace Kitchen on 5th and Belltown Bistro for sliders late at night.

The six things I could never do without

My dog, my friends, my phone, a good haircut, tattoos and my inner faith that things will always be ok.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Hmmmm...I don't want to sound redundant but I often think of society's view concerning the American Pit Bull Terrier and the unjust laws that BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) envokes and the absolute horrific way many humans have ruined this courageous breed. I don't shove my views down people's throat though, nor do I spend much time talking about this stuff to uninterested people.
I also spend an overabundance of time thinking about girls.

On a typical Friday night I am

Depends...I don't really have typical nights. I could be going to a burlesque show, out to eat with friends, or just chillin' at home with the dog and a movie.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Someday I would like to get married, even if it's not legal.
