My Self-Summary
Is there a more difficult question? "Hi, could you please tell me
about yourself?". Let's start with the statistics. I'm a 22 year
old girl. I can act as though I'm not a day over 5 though :P I live
in Dordrecht, a city in the South-West of the Netherlands. I have 1
piercing, 1 nose, two feet and purple-dyed hair. I also have a
open/polyamorous relationship with zmatt, and a stuffed animal called
'Bob'.

What I’m doing with my life
Getting it back on track. There have been some challenges in my
life lately and right now I'm deciding on what I want to do, who I
want to be, and how to get there.
I’m really good at
Talking! I do it a lot anyway :P I also have had plenty of practise
in hugging, I guess I'm good at that too :P Other people compliment
me on my massaging-skills, and that I often seem to know what to
say to people who are a bit blue, or that I see things that are
completely obvious...but no-one seemed to have seen before I
pointed it out.
The first things people usually notice about me
Everything! I'm quite the noticeable person :P At least, when I'm
at ease, I can be real shy too. But when surrounded by
friends...
I'm big, I'm loud, I talk with big gestures, I laugh a lot, I'm mostly surrounded by quite a number of other people. It happened more than once that I was at a party, and people came up to me 'Ah, you must be Tamara!' and they would have never seen me before.
Oh, and my hair is purple. I guess that's kind of noticeable also :P

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Hitchhikers guide to
the Galaxy, Harry Potter, Dan Brown, Terry
Pratchett (still have loads to read of him though. I really do need
a library card). I'm also a huge fan of Thea Beckman. A Dutch writer, she
died a few years ago, and wrote mostly children's books. I still
love them. Roald Dahl is also someone I like. I kinda like
everything. Well, just about :P
Oh, and I've also read the 'Death Gate Cycle' by Weiss and Hickman wich makes me score geek-points appearantly. I love trying to be geeky, so I just thought i'd mention the fact that I've read it...
Music: I'm into pop-rock-kinda stuff, though I actually like everything. Favourite bands: Racoon (Dutch band) and Savage Garden. I have a real broad taste in stuff.
I even listen to tekno! Ketaklak \o/
I don't watch many movies, I do watch television. My favorite televisionshow at this moment is Doctor Who. I'm totally addicted at this point. And offcourse Torchwood.
I also like McLeod's Daughters, Bones, CSI and Law&Order.

The six things I could never do without
- The Internet. You can truly find everything you need on the
internet, you can meet loads of nice people trough it, I love
it!
- Friends, family, that sort of stuff. I like to care for people, I like it when people care for me. I like to cuddle and talk to people. I would be a terrible hermit, I can't be alone for too long.
- Ice tea. I'm addicted to it. No really. Ok, maybe I could learn to live without it, and I should definatly drink less of it :P But it's sooooo jummy!
- Blankets. I love the warmth, softness and general feel of a blanket. It feels safe or something, to be surrounded bij warmth and fluffyness.
The other 2 things I have to think about. :P

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life. Love. Myself. What will my future look like? How do other
people see me? How do I see myself? In what degree is the world
around me just created by my own imagination?
At this point I'm also thinking a lot about relationships. Polygamie, polyamorie, monogamie. What are they, what do they mean, what do I like about them, how do I make it all work for me... Self-exploration ftw! I also spend a lot of time thinking about what I can do to make everyone around me happier, how to make the world a better place. I get a bit hippie-ish now and then :P

On a typical Friday night I am
At home, behind my PC. Or at some friends house. Or someone is
visiting me. I don't like going out or anything. And usually, I
don't know what I'll be doing untill one hour before jumping on the
train 'cause someone called and asked me over. And since my
boyfriend and I started becoming more than friends, he's been here
a lot too on friday's.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I sometimes cheat while playing games. It's not that I'm a terrible
loser, I just don't like it. Or as some Dutch comedian once said:
'I'm not a poor loser, I just haven't had much practise with it.'.
:P Either way, that's probably why I loooooove Munchkin, 'cause it says in the
rules 'cheating is allowed, as long as no-one notices it'
