My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
About me: I had an eccentric childhood in a family of artists, musicians, and a lioness named Tanga (I was her person). As the product of a gynocratic home, my values and politics are feminist, synergic, and progressive. My sense of style is casual, outdoorsy, and bohemian--in short, very un-corporate. A former competitive athlete, I treasure staying active, fit, and healthy.

I work as a professor of literature and visual culture in New York City so I spend a lot of time reading, writing, and looking at works of art. And I like extremes so much that I divide my time between Manhattan during the academic year and a house beside the sea on a remote Scottish island in the summer (but is conveniently just a short flight from Glasgow and Edinburgh). At least once a year I fly to Hawaii to hang with my extended family and to catch some waves.

I'm single (amicably divorced, no kids), financially secure, emotionally evolved, high energy, and looking to meet someone special. To go on adventures, both near and far. I'm not in any rush, but I'm looking to partner up for the long haul.
