My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion man."

Geeky music lover. I love going to gigs and festivals, in fact I'm never happier than when the sun is shining and I'm listening to a heavy bassline or grungy guitar riff!

My love for music extends to playing the bass (although I'm still very much a beginner with only one gig under my belt), and I also go through phases of DJing, mainly when I get offered a gig. Which is very rarely.

I love dark, borderline nihilistic comedy, with my favourite stand ups being Bill Hicks, Doug Stanhope, and Stewart Lee amongst other (slightly) less misanthropic acts.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in search advertising in Shoreditch during the week, and usually ending up there at weekends too, but sometimes Camden, Angel or Greenwich as well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sarcastic quips, winning random competitions, keeping an almost encyclopedic knowledge of Beastie Boys lyrics, embarassing myself by trying to rap along with Beastie Boys lyrics, creative swearing, the art of fast walking, overuse of parenthesis (within reason) and probably some other stuff.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palahniuk, Brett Easton Ellis, Alan Moore and The Walking Dead series.

Movies: Way too many to list, but most films by Chris Nolan, Shane Meadows, and The Coen Brothers. If I was pressed to pick my all time favourite movie though it would be The Big Lebowski.

Music: A variety of rock, old school hip hop, indie, breaks and other electronic stuff including Pixies, Nirvana, David Bowie, Beastie Boys, Radiohead, Stanton Warriors, Alice In Chains, DJ Shadow, and lots more!

TV: Pretty much anything Chris Morris (Brasseye, etc.), Armando Iannucci (Alan Partridge, etc.) or Charlie Brooker (Screenwipe etc.) have been involved in, Peep Show, Arrested Development, South Park, Flight Of The Conchords, Sherlock, Breaking Bad (the BEST show ever made), Game Of Thrones, and The Sopranos.

Food & Drink: I love pretty much everything and I'm always eager to try new things, although Thai, Mexican and Italian foods are favourites. My guilty pleasures are Papa John's, Ben & Jerry's and Jagerbombs, All at the same time preferably.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my bed
mushrooms (the tasty fungus kind, not the hallucinogenic kind)
...and as much as it pains me to say it, my phone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much I want to go to New York and Tokyo.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing something that usually ends up with me falling asleep with my contact lenses still in.

You're fun, smart, have a positive outlook on life and can tell which of my match answer explanations are jokes.

You love live music and/or stand-up and are in need of someone to go to gigs with.
