I'm in the mood to make this profile more legitimate. I'm an extremely sarcastic person by nature and that is honestly what probably comes out the most here. I'm the kind of person that prefers being challenged intellectually, though I still like being active. I'm still mad that my surfboard was stolen.

But otherwise I'm working on a novel and going back to school for a degree in computer science. I suppose the "I'm a writer" thing applies to me, in that if I say I'm a writer and I don't yet have anything major published then I'm not a writer. Whatever.

Cooking. I end up convincing myself that If I make some kind of amazing dish I'll save myself money in the long run, but all that happens is my friends eat all my food and then I have a ton of ingredients. Dicks.

Other than that I'd say I'm pretty damn good at fixing things. Just about anything, really. Just good at it.

And ceramics. Kind of a pseudo artist.

I'm tall and my eyes are that interesting blue/green/yellow mix that seems to change based on whatever.

Books: Dune, The Crying of Lot 49, 1984. Pretty much anything that Tolkien left behind for LOTR. A lot of stuff, really. Kind of big into short fiction, too.

Movies: Dune, The Matrix (the sequels never happened), Shawshank Redemption, Asian Horror Films, Suzhou River, Silence of the Lambs.

TV: FUTURAMA

Music: Arcade Fire, The Temper Trap, Radiohead, Magnetic Fields, Explosions in the Sky, The Strokes, Weezer (old weezer), Broken Social Scene, Noah and the Whale, Sondre Lerche, Raised by Swans, The Black Keys, Silversun Pickups

Food: Asian food is great. I usually subsist on some combination of pasta, chicken, and salad between the times I make random things or go out.
