Intellectually strong and inquisitive; with a love for classic rock, bluegrass, and early metal. Lived in the Clearwater area most of my life with brief stints all over the American South, and all around the world. Enlisted in the Navy during my senior year of High School, served four years of active duty and four in the reserve. My favorite port was Australia, the Aussies are just a cool, laid back people. In lieu of naming all the books I've enjoyed over the years, which seems daunting, I'll just list a few of the authors I like. Aldous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegut, Issac Asimov, Mark Twain, Sam Harris, Sherwin Wine, Clive Barker, Bart Ehrman, Dennis R. MacDonald.

I'm a little more precise with my taste in television shows, I've had a few favorites for a while and little has ever changed that. Simpsons, South Park, Law & Order (any incarnation of the series), Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, American Dad, Star Trek (Original and TNG, everything else was crap including DS9), How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, anything historical/documentary type or true crime related, College Footbal and NFL, and WWE.

Never been much for movies though I do have a few favorites like Star Wars (2-6, 1 was just godawful), Star Trek (1-7), Full Metal Jacket, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Casablanca, any 007 movies, Indian Jones & back to the Future trilogies.

Music is very fluid for me; in short I love classic rock, some of the early metal and punk, alternative rock, Motown era R&B, crooners, and singer/song writers.

As for food: BBQ, Sushi, Italian, Mexican, Cuban, Thai, Chinese, and Kosher Deli sandwiches.
