From NW originally, and have been in DC for about two years. I'm one of those people people who loves knowing the how and why of things (I studied physics and philosophy in college, to give you an idea) but I also get bored easily, so I tend to have a couple of projects happening at any given time. I like tabletop game, trivia, and debating things.

Like half this town, I am an analyst, so that's not really a useful thing to say. I'm reading an insane amount of news, trying to fix the airline industry, and attempting to figure out vague and annoying okcupid essay prompts.

Noticing things, figuring out how systems work, cooking (former caterer), fixing problems.

Favorite books: The moon is a harsh mistress, Snow crash, Neuromancer, The Dresden Files, pretty much everything by Terry Pratchett

Favorite movies: Terminator 2, Lord of war, Thank you for smoking, the original Star Wars trilogy

Favorite shows: The Daily Show/Colbert report, Rachael Maddow, and that's it for favorites. I dont watch to much TV, to be honest.

Favorite music: Daft Punk, Assorted classical music, Trashy pop music.

Favorite food: This is a hard one... The real answer is whatever I am in the mood for at the moment, I suppose. I am partial to a good steak though.

Favorite podcast: The Bugle, far and away

Hmm, on any given day I would have to say:

Whatever idea has caught my attention at the moment. I was a Philosophy kid in college, and parts of that have never left me.

I'm not sure I have a "typical" Friday night, to be honest. It ranges from crashing at home and surfing the internet if I have had a hell of a week, or going out with friends if I haven't.
