My self-summary Propose an edit

OK, I'm just a guy with a great set of morals and such (thank my Mom for those smacks behind the head when I was a kid, for that!). I've spent too long looking for relationships in the wrong places - bars DO NOT lead to meaningful relationships (in my case anyways, lol!). I now try to lead a good life; I make an above-average salary, and I'm just too damn lonely when I get the (little) free time I get.
I'm quite spontaneous, and I guess that's why that all my life I,ve noticed that some of my infatuations with women have led to disaster because I could never feel at ease with them...and on the other side of the coin, I've met some that I've felt like I had known them all my life after talking only ten minutes.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I'm an electronics technician by trade. I worked a few years in this field; however, it didn't offer a satisfactory salary. So now, I do this as a sideline to my "day job". (< Hey ladies! He can cook AND fix the stove and microwave!).
I expanded my field after that, to Sound and Lighting Engineer... again, I wasn't satisfied. Mind you, I enjoyed it greatly, because I got to work hand in hand with the biggest stars in the entertainment business. But the (lower) pay, and the unreasonable work schedule made me choose another career path.
I then tried my hand at office work. I became a clerk at a waste management company; and was astonished to get 6 promotions in 2 years: clerk - accounts payable secretary - administrative assistant - assistant purchaser - "store" manager - and then purchaser.
I'm now a storeskeeper/purchaser at a major international metal recycling firm. The pay's ok, and the job is very easygoing.

Repairing stuff...and working on a computer. I also love to cook, especially exotic oriental dishes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books; would definitely be "Childhood's End" by Arthur C. Clarke, although I don't find much time to read anymore. Movies would be "The Green Mile", "Kill Bill", "Minority Report",... anything sci-fi or with action (although I like gritty drama as well...). For music; ambient, pop, classic rock (I listen to anything that's GOOD basically) I LOVE good food. Anything BBQ, chicken wings, stuffed peppers, ramen with shrimp and green onions, oriental, italian -> wht I DON'T like is a very short list!

Where I'll be in 10 years, where the world is headed in 10 years, and what can be done to change anything; or otherwise enjoy the time I have.
