I have two geeky/nerdy boys that are 15 and 11. I live the suburban life in southern-most outskirts of Cumming. My wooly, black Labradoodle needed a yard to play in. Plus, Cumming is the happiest place on earth, right?
I'm working on a personal transformation and I'm pleased to say I've lost 125 pounds. Making better choices and moving more have helped tremendously. I'm enjoying my new lifestyle change!
I work for an insurance company in town, and love my job. The job is continually changing and morphing into something new, which has it's own set of challenges. Luckily, I consider most of my coworkers as very close friends, so it's a cool way to spend my day. I don't get to travel with the job as much as I used to, but when I do, I usually get to see some interesting cities and more coworker friends.
I'm a raging social liberal with some moderate views on fiscal issues. I love discussing politics and world events, so feel free to start a conversation about it.
I'm a newly certified Open Water Scuba Diver. If you know of any dive spots close to the ATL, let me know, because I need to get back in the water!
Not sure what type of relationship I need/want. I'm figuring that out as I go along. I do tend to remain friends with most people I have dated from this site. I'm honest and I have nothing to hide and I look for the same in a friend/partner. Ideally, and not to sound like a stupid chick flick movie, I would love to have someone care about me, and think I'm the bee's knees. I guess I want to be swept off my feet with romance and 100% emotional investment in us, because in all my years of marriage/divorce/dating, that has never happened. I would love grand, romantic gestures every once in a while too. I'm not talking anything expensive, like trips to Paris, but even just someone showing up at my work with a bouquet of grocery store flowers to walk me to my car, and kissing me passionately enough to take my breath away. Wow, that really is over the top cheesiness, but I'm getting to the age that I'm sick of the emotionless bullshit. Sorry! But, I guess my life has changed some, and those things would be nice every once in a while. But every good gesture deserves one in return. So in exchange for my surprise flowers and breath-taking kisses, I will be the girl that brings you food or coffee when pulling an all nighter and need the support. I'll be there for you, if you are there for me.
I've seen lots of guys state what type of girl they want in this section, so I thought I would state which type of guy I want. It's only fair, right? I would like a guy that's intelligent, funny, has a steady decent job, loves to travel, enjoys microbrews, and most importantly, lacks mental illness. And bonus for me if you happen to be a fabulously wealthy venture captialist with a jet setting lifestyle and you look like Clive Owen, but I'm not picky. I don't bite (unless asked), so if you don't meet most of the criteria, you should still send me a message.
