My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello. Hard working poet and career teacher -teaching 7th grade American studies and English for the last 24 years, tho have been so many things in my life that my stories are twisted--verbally--around many trunks. It's summer and that's grand. I like doing nothing. Which means reading writing and letting the school year go--of course and being a single dad. The big joy. But in need of adult company as well. Trying for balance not on a trapeze. ! And tho I don't love self promotion--actions are words too--I'm a very good egg.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, teaching for the most part. Seeing my daughter in high school. Writing. Listening to a lot of music. Trying to be and yet make additions to. Feeding the birds--and my writing project--to re-read everything in my poetics library. And enjoying morning and afternoon walks. And 30 Rock.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thoughtful intuition. Following a story. Telling a story. Taking a walk. Walking around a story. teaching. Writing. And making a house a home.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh. I've no idea. Tell me.
