My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
There are a lot of things I love about Los Angeles, like Watts towers, Day of the Dead at Self-Help Graphics, Stones Throw Records, public swimming pools, dancing at Rhonda, Oaxacan restaurants, Matador beach, and that cropped lawn at the Getty Center. It would be fun to share this stuff with someone and find out about your favorite spots too.

My approach to life is pretty serious, but I laugh a lot too. I feel like there's a lot to do so I don't like wasted time. I'm into left politics and activism. I love to be outside riding my bike, hiking in Griffith Park, or just sitting in a park and reading. I like collecting records and finding out about new music. I like going to shows to hear a band, or dancing to a good DJ. I appreciate good food and I love to travel.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I teach history and geography at a public high school. I spend a lot of time organizing around social justice issues, which can be overwhelming and frustrating and inspiring and amazing.

I use my summers off to travel as much as possible. My favorite places so far are Mexico City, Beirut, Cuzco, and Rome.

I got inspired by Killsonic so I'm learning the trumpet. I want to play music with people.
