My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ah, once more I am called to use words and well-turned phrases to entice some yet-known-to-me woman with a pretty smile (especially when she is annoyed to the point of hostile irritation) that I am worthy or responding to what amounts to a public airing of my romantic and dating bona fides. And the pressure—should I be serious and methodical, proving that I am a candidate of sober penchants who will be a solid and sturdy partner should I be lucky enough to be selected from the ranks? Or, perhaps, I should don the jester’s cap and make light and merry—everybody likes a clown, right? (until he comes home drunk and mean from the circus, that is)…Of course, there is the median…be broodingly serious while mixing the submitted-for-your-approval treatise with levity and phrases that beg for an LOL at the end…So how about I just stop giving in to the pressure to impress and just be myself? Here goes: I am a single dad who hates his first name and goes by his middle name…if I tell you my first name, that means I really like you. I am a college instructor by day, a graphic comic book creator and documentary producer by night (well, day and night—the hours overlap)…I have been called a nerd, and I guess I probably am ( I still love sci-fi, cartoons, and still know all the lyrics to that show “The Greatest American Hero.”) I have three computers and an Ipad and I am cheating on all of them… I love to debate—politics, religion, sex, pop culture, relationships—etc. I am very happy with the skin I am, though it can get me pulled over by suburban cops from time to time(insert lol if you like)…I love working out (not really, but I do it), I try to eat healthy (not a vegan anymore, but pretty much a vegetarian with some salmon and tuna sprinkled in)…I am a tv junkie (got to have some vices) and love shows such as Dexter, The Wire, Damages, The Walking Dead, The Good Wife (yes, real men watch that show), and Supernatural….I love to dance, go to the movies often, love live theater, comedy clubs, and TRAVELING!!! I love to travel and am looking for someone who has a passport and knows how to navigate…I am looking for a woman who is –well, pefect…ok, not perfect, but perfect for me…she would be beautiful inside and out, height and weight proportionate, not a Bible Thumper who insists that her mate thump with her, funny, intelligent, fair, kind, considerate, and affectionate…must love to give and receive caresses…must be financially stable, has her own goals and ambitions, not controlling, and knows what she wants and takes responsibility for her own actions and choices…she must not approach relationships like an episode of “This Old House,” treating her mate as a dilapidated home that just needs some good old fashioned rewiring and a new paint job…we should be able to get “as is: mates, warts and all…so, if this seem of interest to you, feel free to message me…
