My self-summary
I moved here for my dream career and have experienced many wonders because of it; traveled the world, learning Japanese and brushing up on my French. Loyal and dedicated to those in my life. Family and friends mean everything.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an art director/graphic designer for TV and film.
I’m really good at
Finding the best places to eat. Hanging leg raises. Making omelettes. Making up useless jingles. Getting people to roll their eyes but laugh at the same time. Rock, paper, scissors.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm Canadian. "Oh noooowww it makes sense!" Is the response I normally receive. I suppose it's a compliment?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite films are Rushmore, Infernal Affairs, No Country for Old Men, The Prestige, Coming to America, In the Mood for Love, Amores Perros and Uncle Buck (I want pancakes like that!).

For TV I'd say The Wire, The Walking Dead, Dexter (the final season was awful though), Mad Men and Breaking Bad are my go to shows. So basically AMC, HBO and Showtime. And...Revenge/Scandal, what can I say? I'm a gladiator in a suit.

My favorite authors are Roald Dahl, Malcom Gladwell, Paulo Coehlo and Hermann Hesse.

Also really into comedy, improv, live, anything at all really. Dave Chapelle, Tracy Morgan, Tig Notaro, Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts are just some of the people I have seen.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, Family, Food, Festivus, Flying and French toast. Alliteration *ok that was seven things*
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Would you rather questions; i.e. Would you rather fight a bear or a shark?
Why aren't more people smiling in NY.
Does time travel exist.
Whether anyone could possibly like breakfast more than me.
If I had a transmogrifier what would I turn into.
On a typical Friday night I am
In the East Village (cocktails and food), St. Marks (great food), Soho (late night work, shopping and food), Chinatown (delicious cheap eats), Lower East Side (for everything including brunch) and K-town (karaoke and amazing dishes). Basically anywhere with food.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Canadians have special powers. We are immune to cold, can diffuse any hostile situation and maple syrup runs in our veins.
You should message me if
You're a gentlewoman and a scholar.
If you enjoy being a kid when not at work.
But most importantly, you're serious about making a real connection over time, not simply a passing encounter.
