I am of
Scottish
decent so I inherited the big shoulders and large build. Thankfully
I have friends at
University that I work out with every
week so I never fell into the whole freshmen 15 thing (Gain 15
pounds when you first are living on your own). That and since I
have already graduated
College I didn't really fit into the
worried freshmen eating pastries role. I can look fairly
intimidating at first
but sooner than later you will find I'm just a
big teddy bear (No matter how much I may
have fought that nickname in the
past). But it's not all rainbows and
butterflies, sometimes I can be a real
jerk. Especially when someone tries to be
fake around me I have
and will call them on it. I tend to be very
direct on serious issues and have been
accused of always acting the
leader. But on the other hand I love
being
spontaneous to go have
fun. I like going on
random little
adventures, even if it's
as small as being lost in
Ottawa for a day. I can be horribly
argumentative so be prepared for
some
ego/
arrogance but I do my
best to keep it in check. I'm also one of those ridiculous
romantics (which
is usually unexpected from someone who looks like me - Apparently I
look too much like a
guy to be
nice. hahaha), I do the whole
music, candles & roses
thing. Which I guess is
cheesy but I like it and I've never heard
any complaints. When things get serious I usually take the role of
leader and reign in the
responsibility. Which is
odd because on off
days I like nothing more than to sit in the
sun, listening to music and just enjoy doing
nothing, leaving all of the responsibility up to someone else (Of
course that's only until I get back, j/k. My head isn't that
inflated just yet). Overall I like to think I am just me. I
love to
listen and talk one on one.
I like to think I am
playful when it comes to flirting and
probably one of my greatest assets (and at the same time drawbacks)
is my
honesty
(which tends to get me into
trouble). I have a
passion for listening to
music. I couldn't name a band
or what their song truly means, but I know if I like it or not,
especially when driving in my car. I like switching the
radio channels listening to
different types of music. However it tends to bug friends but I
like what I like. I'm
Catholic but I'm not the type to hold
anyones
religion
or personal choices against them and I don't plan on ever becoming
that type. Overall I'm a pretty
decent guy. I have my
good and
bad moments. But I suppose it's up to you to
make the final decision of who you think I am.
I'm twenty two entering my final year of University. I have a Radio
Broadcasting degree under my belt from College and went to
University to take History and Film. I think I partied myself out
in College and maybe became a little matured in University. I've
been told for the majority of my Highschool and College life that
I'm most like Joey (Friends tv show) with brains. However since
University I now get stuck with Ross... grrrr (And No. I do not own
a monkey). I like to think I'm on the right track. I work at an
import/export/fwding company for the summer and will continue there
part time during the school year. I go swimming a lot and love to
go out hiking as well (Sometimes it's nice to be away from all of
the cities noise). A lot of my life at the moment revolves around
reading (which sounds lame and introverted, but I like it). I'm
more a small groups person and 1:1 now more than I have ever been
before... But I guess I'm a bit of a walking contradiction. I like
people but like time to myself. I deal out sarcasm but cannot take
it well. I tell people to cheer up and that everything will be
alright, but don't believe it myself. lol... hmmm. I guess I may be
more complicated than I thought. lol
Cooking breakfast, NO THIS ISN'T A COME ON LINE! Lol. I really can
cook a mean breakfast, I'm good at steaks too.
My baby blue eyes and my smile.
I've always liked books, really into the whole good vs evil epics.
I'm an ancient history freak so I love the story of Leonidas and
the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae, etc. I'm a fan of animated movies
like Toy Story, Shrek, Nemo. I was also brought up in life as a
Star Wars Nerd, not the new ones so much. But the old ones are
fantastic. Croissants are the best thing that happened at Tim
Hortons... mmmmm coffee. I guess other than that I like trying new
things... except squid and other seafood. Not big on the "chicken
of the sea".
Family, Friends, Music, Movies, Tim Hortons Coffee and my books.
(Yeah, I know I'm a nerd. I've come to accept that. lol)
I'm a dreamer so I think a lot on the future.
Going out on the town with the guys or sitting in watching a movie,
or sitting on this computer listening to music and writing another
term paper.
I have a weird facination with eyes, sometimes you could be talking
to me and I'll just get lost in your eyes. It's an odd fetish but
I'm supposed to be honest here aren't I?
