My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Wow. How does one figure out what should go here? I'd like to say I'm a superhero trapped inside a Clark Kent-like persona, but my extroverted side would want out badly. I guess the best way to describe myself would be as a dreamer, but a realist; focused, but relaxed; driven, but carefree; intelligent, but occasionally dumb. In other words, I have many facets that go into who I am.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work my butt off at work, and I'm good at what I do. I have a pile of hobbies and I play sports, but I'm dedicating myself to skating daily this winter. If you like skating, I suggest we talk. Mostly, I'm just living life as it comes to me, and working towards some healthy roadtrips and a great life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Um, this could be incriminating. I like to talk. I can cook and bake well enough to have people ask me to bring dishes to events. I know how to sew, although I'm far from a tailor. I play sports, at which some I actually excel. I have multiple other talents that I'm not willing to divulge. After all, I can't giveaway everything here.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm actually not sure. I'd hope it would be my eyes or my smile, but my sense of humor generates a lot of chatter, it seems.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: too many to mention? I try to squeeze in one book a week when possible, and at minimum one per month. Currently reading "The Game of Our Lives" by Peter Gzowski (it's a hockey book).

Movies: again, far too many to mention. I have a massive collection, and I'm working on a new venture with these movies. It involves technology. I'm pretty proud of this idea.

Music: anything but country and gangster rap. I'm pretty open to new music. My iPod clearly indicates my age.

Food: I'll try anything once. And more often if it pleases the palette. I'm more than willing to try ethnic foods because I'm pretty sure I don't want to miss something delicious.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Hockey. It's vital in my life. After that, I think about all sorts of stuff: sports, politics, comedy, movies, music, food, cooking, vacation destinations, roadtrips, animals, nature, technology, computers. I need to find someone to talk to about all this stuff bouncing around my noggin.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
... usually anywhere between out on the town to watching sports on TV. It all depends, I guess. I like a mix of being out-and-about and being at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I actually am quite a homebody. I do go out and enjoy a nice meal or a movie or an event or festival, but I actually like being at home. I bake, I cook, I experiment in the kitchen. I have lots of entertainment at home.

... you'd like to talk. On a more serious note, I'd like to get to know you and hang out with you. Just fire me a message, and we'll let the chatter determine where things go.
