My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I smile more than my smile free profile photographs suggest. I hear smiling is important on sites like these.

I've had my profile vetted by my associates and although it's cryptic and vague I have been assured that it is also very 'me' and that's all I could have hoped for.

I am absolutely incapable of spouting about myself unless provoked. That being said I have an open book policy. The open book policy is the best source of information on me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I read a lot about pottery and drink a lot of coffee.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Handwriting, making coffee, telling jokes, making people smile, remembering useless information, thinking laterally, making up nicknames, ranting, and including everyone present in the conversation/activity.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The beard, then the volume, then maybe my eyes?

People often tell me 'I thought you were intimidating when we first met'.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Change often. Mostly though my impulse answers would always be the things I find most nostalgic to me. Example: my favourite movie is The Brave Little Toaster. My favourite book is Lafcadio: The Lion Who Shot Back, and my favourite food is crackers and cheese. I'm not a child, but I've traveled away from lighthearted things before and it was quite depressing.

I really don't revisit my favourites often though, so I wouldn't say they're 'important'.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Spontaneity, impulse, self-respect, communication, and my integrity.

I guess this could have been a list of stuff, but even the things I'd be insecure about losing I know I'd do okay without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not I make an impression on people and what that impression is. I also think a lot about critical theory and Geography and Critical Geography. I'm always trying to figure out how to better explain myself and my world view to others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wherever I've been invited to. Otherwise I've rented / downloaded a bunch of movies and I'm getting the sleep I don't get other days of the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I make my private life public. As a result I'm not a good judge of what would be considered private. I know this section would be a good place to just say something outrageous and show how open I really am, but I just answered 100 questions openly for this site and will probably answer more. If I had a better idea what topics interested the audience I'd be able to come up with a list.
