If I claim I'm witty, do I have to say something funny? I tell jokes; I laugh. However, it's so much nicer when someone else is there. After a night out dancing to deep house music and disco, I take the old whiteboard down to the jacuzzi and do some mathematics. Does any part of that appeal to you? I eat sushi and I drink lots of protein drinks. Enjoyment and efficiency are not mutually exclusive. I daily defend my position at the top of the food pyramid. When I watch a romantic comedy, I am genuinely happy when those two hapless lovebirds finally get together. Whether or not radioactive spiders can give one super powers, it doesn't hurt to think it would be cool (after the pain and howling and wretching). Good conversation has many modalities. What makes the world go round? What drives the human spirit? Why do all of my favorite restaurants close? Will those two ever get together? Valentine's Day is a beautiful tribute to the most treasured of human emotions; I will never let the cynics or Hallmark take that away from me. Halloween is a super-cool tribute to the wearing of costumes and the eating of candy; I will never let Father Time take that away from me. I express my passions deeply and with deadly resolve and choose to surround myself with people who are passionate and ambitious as well.
