My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm basically your average, every-day layabout. I'll work as long as I have to, but as soon as that's done you can find me just hanging out. I'm active in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and am willing to talk about Christianity as well as other religions, but I won't guarantee that I know everything.

I may come off as a strange person because of my slightly less-than-average life growing up. My family is close-knit, yet so sarcastic it borderlines sardonic. And I blame this entirely on my father, in both senses of the word. If you couldn't guess from that last sentence, my dad's a pastor, and has been since before he retired from the Army (I'm both an Army brat, and a Pastor's kid... what a combo, eh?).

More so, I decided to follow in his footsteps in the latter, serving my country with fervor and insanity. This, of course, only after one year serving my mind the higher knowledge only a collegiate lifestyle could offer. So now I get to live in Colorado and play soldier until my term ends and I can return to my book learnin'.

While my job keeps me in somewhat decent shape, I despise having to work out rather than just being able to on my own. So I normally come off as the kind of guy that hates to be active outside of work. Now, I say that because it's only the kind of attitude I give off. I'm not afraid to get out and do something with someone, just so long as it's mutually fun (and I'm not already exhausted from an earlier event).

I am witty, arrogant, and calculating
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I'm currently in the military until June 11th, 2013 (and yes, I'm counting down the seconds 'til I get out). I'm a network administrator by day, and a computer nerd/musician by night. Not to mention I also ride my motorcycle at an amateur level. When I actually feel like it, I slowly work toward a BS in Computer Science/Information Technology. I'm also slowly learning about photography. I figured I'd been living in Colorado long enough that I might as well start taking pictures of some of the natural beauty that's right outside my door. Other than that, I have the haughty aspiration of co-owning a bar/internet cafe with my brother someday maybe... possibly.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Annoying people? I dunno. I don't really have mad bow staff skills or anything like that. I can play guitar somewhat well... and I built my computer, does that count? On occasion I can make people laugh with my impressions and spastic optimism, but only 46.3% of the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I won't speak unless directly spoken to, or introduced by someone I already know. Yeah, I'm sort of introverted like that.

Books: I Am America (And So Can You!), Arguing With Idiots, Year of the Black Rainbow, Thr3e, Black, Red, White, Saint, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, The Transall Saga, The White Fox Chronicles
(In a nutshell: Political satire, Psychological Thrillers, Fantasy and Sci-Fi)

Movies/TV Shows: Fight Club, Spaceballs, Baseketball, Shaun of the Dead, Resident Evil, Family Guy, House M.D., Spongebob Squarepants, Freakazoid!

Music: Way too many to list! Imagine a lot of lesser-known bands that range from piano rock to borderline death metal. Just about anything other than country and rap/hip-hop. And every now and then I'll pull out the classics... like Bach or Haydn.

Food: Hu-Hot (Mongolian grill) and just about anything my mom makes...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music (Generically speaking, of course)
My Family
Technology (Again, generally vague)
My Motorcycle
My Keurig (For with which, without, I would surely sleep forever)
... Air?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The subtle differences between air speed velocities of African Swallows compared to that of European Swallows...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time playing video games, practicing my guitar skills, internet surfing and learning new mixed drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I... don't really know. I'm kind of an open book about everything. I don't keep secrets and I let people know what I think of them upfront. That's why I come off as a jerk a lot of the time. So, I guess I can admit that I'm brutally honest?

You laughed at least once reading my profile, or found my strange quirks to your liking. Heck, maybe even if you're bored and just want somebody to talk with about random ramblings and spontaneous subjects.
