I could copy and paste a summary from another dating site, but this isn't strictly a dating site, is it? So that would be a little inappropriate. Not to mention lazy.

In accordance with OkCupid's "three adjectives" thing, I am funny, honest, and introverted. At least I think I'm funny.

After a long break from college, I'm back at Wofford College and working on my English degree. I really have no clear idea what I'll be doing afterward. Graduate school, possibly. Maybe teaching English in another country. It depends on where I am in my life at that point.

I'm also working full time in a cotton mill (manual labor!). It's not a career and never could be, but it helps me keep the weight off and I like the physical activity. Second shift allows me to take classes, too.

I love to make people laugh if I can, and I'm not bad at it. My sense of humor is sarcastic and a little warped, and some people just don't get it.

I'm gifted with the written word, which is a damn good thing since I'm an English major.

I honestly have no idea. That I'm sort of tall, maybe?

I enjoy the work of way too many authors to list, but my favorites to date are William Faulkner (The Sound and the Fury is probably my favorite novel) and Cormac McCarthy. I've read all of the latter's work. He's incredible.

A list of the films I love would take forever. Among my favorites are Pulp Fiction, The Conversation, Jacob's Ladder, Fargo, Lost in Translation, Falling Down, The Iron Giant, Once Upon a Time in the West, and pretty much anything by Miyazaki. I love and enjoy pretty much every genre, but I'm the most drawn to drama, I think. I also love great television (David Milch is my freakin' hero and The Wire is literally life-changing stuff).

Musically, I'm a little unconventional. I enjoy most genres of music (yes, even some country), but If I'm listening to the radio, it's either tuned to a talk station (and I'm probably talking back to the radio) or my iPod.

I won't even attempt a list of foods I love. How about a list of foods I dislike? I'm not a huge fan of sushi... and that's about it!

working, from 4PM to midnight. Saturday night too, at the moment. Sunday is my day off, during which I usually go out to hang out or eat with my friends or lounge around my apartment, catching up on my reading and gaming.

The personality awards on this site are a complete joke. In fact, I think this site is a joke, and I don't expect anything to come from my presence here.
