I'm an Aquarius. I don't put stock into astrology (perhaps I
should) but I do notice that a lot of my personality stems from
what makes an Aquarius, well that. I'm intelligent, or rather, I
can draw connections and am speculative. I'm a planner who
recognizes that plans rarely leave room for the random occurrence
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment, usual work grinding. I'm self teaching myself all
the things I've wanted to know when I'm old. (play the piano, speak
Mandarin, Russian, and french, cook like a boss and wax
philosophical about politics and the like.)
I’m really good at
I'm really good at following recipes, if not creating my own.
(Never mix lime skin with potatoes... or anything overpowering for
that matter) I'm great at researching nearly anything I can think
of. They say it takes 14 years to master anything, so I'm still on
my way to being even "half-decent" at things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, I know this because when I pass people in public who have
eyes like mine I stare at them. "So that's what they look like?
Daaaaamn." That and I can go from sounding like I just left the
Nobel Prize voting, to that 5 year old who spilt juice on the floor
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have a library. Books on learning things and those that I can
download. Science Fiction/Fantasy in the form of Brent Weeks,
George R.R. Martin, Anne McCaffrey and Orson Scott Card. I read
some random textbooks (Marketing, Business Law, Psychology and
whatever I'm trying to read looking over my shoulder.)
My favorite movie is Romeo + Juliet, with Leonardo Di Caprio. With
movies I enjoy anything that can not only put me in the characters
shoes, but make me think outside of the movie I'm shown. Now that
can span many genres so the movies that I can watch even without
sounding pretentious is Fast and Furious movies which are fun to
watch. Mostly Action, but many others.
I cook. I love food, pairing, tasting, cooking (burning). Food is
the drive of our existence. It's how we prove our capability to
survive, not just it's procurement. How someone expresses
themselves with herbs and seasonings is a study in body art. What
people eat represents who they are, how they view the world, and
what they expet from it. That being said I love red meat, Thai
cuisine, Jerky, and Hot wings. Spicy food really, but not quite
ready for Indian. I'm working through Sriracha sauce.
The six things I could never do without
-The internet in all it's variants
-A pack of smokes
-A rack of Lamb
-The touch of a good woman
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Humanity most of the time. We children of stars live on this
fragile rock and it's amazing to see how haphazardly we adjust to
it's ecosystem. Also how we interact with each other and bypass all
known evolutionary variables to become a species not only topping
the food chain, but transcending evolution altogether. Well, I'm a
bit of a trans-humanist.
On a typical Friday night I am
If not working, praising baby jeebus, and drinking a bit of
something with an eye for trouble. That or gaming, news reading,
movie watching or some other past time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm far more selfish than I put on.
You should message me if
Your interested, or your fun. I mean fun to be around, preferably
drive and work, and hopefully at some sort of feminine end of the
