Richmond transplant since 2004, I lived in Japan, Afghanistan, Boston, Burma and Switzerland from '74-'98, and 6-year stint in NJ following that. I'm dependable, creative, intelligent and a good listener. I unwind with outdoor recreation and adventure. My three grown and launched children are the pride and joy of my life.

FOOD: I like flavorful and healthful international or ethnic food. Food prepared together tastes better. :-)
ENTERTAINMENT: I watch little TV, but like documentaries, Olympics, History Channel, for example. Theater, concerts, exhibitions are great.
BOOKS: Recorded books are my fave...anything with an international element, accents, intrigue, set in history... Bible study, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Good Earth, Shakespeare, the classics.
MUSIC: classical, Baroque, Celtic, guitar, Christian contemporary, folk, jazz. Very eclectic tastes.

Catching up on groceries or laundry, so I can enjoy an interesting outing on the weekend. Perhaps visiting the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, grabbing a quick meal and glass of wine, and enjoying an exhibit.
