shy at first, talkative, and a good listener
My self-summary Propose an edit
For fun, I like exploring San Francisco, beachcombing, car
washes that become water fights, wordplay battles that make people
say “You must be related!” white water rafting,
fishing, and
snorkeling.
Some of my favorite things are driving & singing at the top of
my lungs, people who understand Starbucks (real men grind their own
beans), This
Old House, fireplaces, falling asleep with purring cats,
garnets, opals, making my nephews giggle.
Some of my favorite places are Bristol, New York City, London, Key West, San Francisco, and anywhere I'm
with friends. I'd love to add to that list, but that will have to
wait until my next vacation.
What am I looking for in a partner? Simple really. In the movie
‘Sabrina’ they go out to dinner intending to go to a Broadway show afterward.
However, they sit in the restaurant talking and laughing for so
long they completely miss the show. It’s that rare level of
connection with someone. You don’t find it with the average person
you meet on the street. That degree of connection with someone is
so precious that when you do find it, you have to hold onto it
because it’s just so incredible. We’d get home way later than
planned, apologize profusely to the babysitter, look in on our
sleeping little darlings, and then…well, you can imagine the good
bits. Except I want flowers too. Hey a girl has to have some
standards, right?
I’m looking for someone who understands friendship. “Why are you
doing this?” “Because she’s my friend and she needs me,” should say
everything to you. Obviously, friends are very important to me and
they should be to you as well. You should want to know that your
friends think well of me and care about their good opinion. Friends
are the family you get to choose. How’s this sound? White picket
fence, 3-4 kids (yours, mine, ours, foster) running around, lotsa
pets, lives outside of work, friends/family over all the time, life
enjoyed! I want a life with someone that has ties to somewhere, yet
still wants to travel, see, do, and enjoy the lot of it
– with me.
