My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a transplant from Vermont and the Green Mountains. Now I play in and marvel at the Teton range. What a trade out. 30 years in this unique corner of Wyoming. I am an avid backcountry and Nordic track skier. Enjoy hitting the gym to maintain the foundation for skiing and hiking and other physical activities. I am curious about everything and read a lot. Always get several books going and do not necessarily finish them! I consider myself a musician/songwriter and this is my creative outlet. Performing is so fun and nerve wracking that I have to keep doing it. The day job gets in the way sometimes but such is life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on developing my creative side and having fun with it. Oh, and searching for my muse!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Foot massages. Putting together a "band" at open mikes on the spur of the moment. I can put together a decent dinner party and even prepare some of the food. I'm getting better and better at laughing at myself. If we think about it I bet most of us have a longer list than we realize.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I may turn a good sentence or phrase into a song.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like books along the lines of Gladwell's Tipping Point and Blink. Steven Dubner's Freakonomics. Sociological perspectives and human nature. A good biography once in a while. Sometimes a book based on historical events can be a great journey. Quirky movies for sure. Waking Ned Devine, Grand Budapest Hotel. Wes Anderson stuff is good. Sideways and other dialogue driven scripts draw me in. Soft spot for Bond movies. I like nutrition articles.
I eat simply and food that is whole grain and minimally processed. Lots of extra virgin olive oil and too much fresh garlic at times.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
After air, water, food, shelter, a guitar and a few good friends maybe I don't need too much more? Yeh, probably more family interaction. I may want more however.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Jeez, the state of the world. Reminding myself that there is a lot of good to be found if I keep my mind open.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm all over the place on this one. No real routine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a big fan of the lost art of digression.
