My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Eclectic, passionate, focused, fun, and all that good stuff. I'm a bit of a walking contradiction. I'm independent and professional, but could be happy staying at home and raising a family.

I'm liberal and forward focused but also have a preference for a few particular gender roles. I'm from Texas, so I like men who eat meat and have a good firm handshake. I think men who drink should either drink beer or liquor. You can have an appreciation for wine, but it shouldn't be your preference (at least if I'm dating you). I'm looking for a man that can respect and not feel threatened by my independence.

I'm a chameleon. I'm quiet when others around me are loud. I prefer not to be the center of attention. Although I don't go out of my way to draw attention, I am a quiet leader. I'm better in small group settings. I get overwhelmed by large groups unless I know everyone. I observe until I get to know people. Sometimes it seems unapproachable, but I tend not to speak unless I have something to say. Although I'm quiet, I'm observant and watch how others interact. I'm actually quite funny.

I'm not much on an on-line dater. I usually get bored after a few weeks of scanning profiles. I'm trying to do better this time around.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Cooking shows - I am inspired by watching what goodies the professional chefs can put together. Chopped, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, most anything on the Food Network.

I watch too much tv, but I'm starting to read more. Once I start a book, I refuse to stop util I put it down. I read the Hunger Games trilogy in a week. As in all of three of them - obsession. I also enjoy memoirs. I guess I'm a bit of a voyeur.

I like comic book movies and action films generally. I love a good comedy. Not much for sappy girly movies, but I do appreciate a good suspense.

Homeland, Always Sunny, The League, Parenthood, Game of Thrones, House of Lies, Shameless

I like all kinds of music and know more song lyrics than is probably normal. Think The Heartbreak Kid. R & B, Hiip-Hop, Country, 90s alternative, 80s, and everything in between.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family
2) Lip gloss
3) Good food
4) Water
5) Laughter
6) Hope

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
where I would like to live next.

headed home to spend time with the dog after happy hour. I live too far to return downtown for a full evening out. I try to only go out one day, if any, on the weekend, but not both. It's an aspiration but not a rule.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I am a hopeless romantic. I hope for love at first sight, a handsome, loving, devoted husband, three kids, and a white picket fence.
