I'm originally from Country Vic but have lived in the city (Melbourne and Sydney, plus the odd year or two in Japan and China) for the past 17 years. I am of European heritage but have a lot of connection with Asia.
I am interested in different cultures and learning different perspectives (particularly interested in and have studied Eastern Philosophy and Psychology). I like nature - viewing it, walking in it, hearing it. I'm also fond of a good conversation, bike riding, country drives. I work in Community Development but rather than travelling to Asia as before, I travel to North West Sydney! I do like music and movies, travelling, witty/dry humour, philosophy (and am very curiosity about life), books, spirituality and art - creativity is always good, wish I did more in this area. Hmmm what else.....I've been described as kind, compassionate, funny, easy going....

I work in Community Development in North West Sydney. I did International Aid and Development before that and travelled to Asia but am now based here.
I manage a Community Centre and develop programs to connect people including people from different cultures.
I travel to Melbourne every now and then as I'm originally from country Victoria and then lived in Melbourne but I'm really enjoying Sydney (been here for 7 years) especially since I moved from the Inner West to the beach!
So these days I'm enjoying coastal walks and coffee by the sea.

Well, I'm good at my job and engaging and helping people from diverse backgrounds, I'm good at languages, not a bad cook and I'm good with kids!

Books: The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, a Separate Reality and other Carlos Castenda books, books on Daoism, books on Food as Medicine
Movies: Life of Pi, Walk the Line, Migrating Birds, big fan of good documentaries,
Music: Has varied a lot but at the moment delving back in time a bit with Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, but back again: The Budos Band, Gurrumul, Warsaw Village Band. Used to like old-school hip hop with funky beats!
Food: balanced and fresh

Trees, good conversations, good music, my rice cooker, good humour
