Singer/song writer, my first love is my guitar. Creatively inclined and pretty nerdy. I'm what you would call an extroverted introvert.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and saving money to study International Business and Marketing in Germany.
I’m really good at
I am excellent at treading the fine line between being witty and being a smart-ass. But once you get to know me you'll realize that's just my sense of humor. I'm also great at getting myself into awkward situations. To be honest at this point I've become so jaded that awkward moments are the funniest thing in the world.
But most importantly something that I am good at is making an effort to be a decent human being. My conscious is always making sure I try to do the right thing and my heart is always trying to help those who are hurt. Besides at the end of the day no ones likes an asshole...not even the asshole...unless that's your thing.
I'm also not bad at poetry especially since I've started writing again. Get to know me and I might let you read a few.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd say normally my face, then my clothes, and then my voice. Unless I yell at them from far away in which case it's vice versa.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Classic novels will always win me over. Some of my favorites are "The Divine Comedy", "Don Quioxte", and the excellent satire that is "Candide". I'm huge on philosophy and reading philosophical essays, French philosophy and I get along great. I also dislike people that hate books. Reading is practically the closest thing to traveling time. You read the thoughts of someone who has lived hundreds of years before you and you get to see the world through their eyes. How cool is that?
I am a film addict mainly due to being raised by a television for a majority of my life. I have a love for the classic films and a bigger love for comedies. If I had to pick my favorite actor is Gene Wilder (First Willy Wonka). I would also be unable to count the amount of times I have watched "Young Frankenstein". Also a huge Charlie Chaplin fan! The man was a comedian and a brilliant mind. Just listen to the speech from "The Great Dictator", I live by that speech.
Musically part of me was definitely born in the wrong era. My taste is also eclectic. If you walk into my room there is a very good chance you could be greeted by Mozart, Pink Floyd, NWA, Bob Marley, or Black Sabbath; music doesn't have boundaries. While everyone else wishes they could go to EDC I normally find myself wishing I went to Woodstock or Ozzfest. Yes I am a contradiction but oh well, life is all about contradictions.
The six things I could never do without
My guitar, my notebook of songs, my family, the large gallery of music I have collected over the years, the shining light in my life that is Netflix, and all my books.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about very random things. Sometimes
it'll be about space and our existence in the universe. Other times
it may be about my philosophy on life. But most of the time it's
just how bad ass I would be as a Pokemon trainer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out in DC hitting up the clubs and bars or staying in and watching Netflix while playing my guitar and singing...It could go in two very different directions.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wore eyeliner in middle school cause I thought girls would find
it hot. Apparently Johnny Depp could do it but I couldn't.
