Let's see, I'm originally from California and I like to think that I retain some of that heritage. I'm enlisted in the military, so that means I swear quite frequently. Not because I lack proper vocabulary, but because it's sort of a learned dialect. I'm a network engineer by trade, but a pilot by love. I have my pilots license and am slowly finishing up the commercial training. Flying occupies some of my time, and when I'm not aloft, I'm usually watching incredibly good movies, discussing theoretical physics, playing video games, surfing the web to increase my limitless pool of knowledge, hanging out with friends around a fire, collecting vast amounts of illegal music, playing games with friends, reading nerdy sci-fi/fantasy books, enjoying a clear night walking around, pondering the great mysteries of our universe, and occasionally I'll go out for some drinks. A good way to see if I'd be interested in something would to ask an average person if it would be considered nerdy. If the answer is yes or maybe, then I'd probably enjoy it. Politically, I'm a libertarian(socially liberal, fiscally conservative). I dislike both major parties. I vote for policy, not party. I'm fairly interested in national and global politics and love to discuss any debatable topic. I also ran for elected office a couple of times. I have an extremely broad sense of humor and find the oddest things hilarious. That trait offends people sometimes, but I can't help it. I have a rescued 85lb German Shepherd named Lucy at home, she's awesome, the only reliable female in my life besides my mom. Lastly, I'm an atheist. I find organized religion to be a plague upon the earth. If you are overly zealous about your religion, you would be wise to 1) keep your distance, 2) be ready for debates, or 3) at the very least be okay with me not participating in your spiritual journey. This doesn't mean I don't find beauty in art or spirituality in nature, it just means I have little interest in man-made organizations attempting to control these things.
Oh, fun fact: Actual female nerds get +3 to charisma around me.
So based on the Myers–Briggs test, I am an INTJ. After reading about it, I believe it to be pretty damn accurate.
Here are some things I really enjoy:
