My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Cody.
I would say I am very opinionated and know what I like, and know what I don't like. I don't fake anything about who I am.
I love cereal.
I have a beard (most of the time).
I could be described as anti-social, hence the dating site membership, but I do take chances and go out often as well.
Karaoke is something I do often.
I'm in a two man band called Lovers Beware.
I have a very distinct sense of humor that people sometimes have to adjust to.
I don't care for sports and I find them excruciatingly dull.
I play video games often but don't let them rule my life.
I have a very eclectic variety of tastes in music, movies and TV shows.
I have a list of pet-peeves stashed away in my brain.
My wardrobe ranges from the styles of a 10 year old boy to a dapper man.
I collect knick knacks.
My mother has a Pez collection (just sayin').
I'm not a fan of coffee, but I do like the smell.
I've been told by several different people that I look like Ben Affleck.
I don't see it.
I've also been told I look like Paul Rudd.
Kinda see it. But I digress...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just being who I am and enjoying my life as much as I can allow myself to. I suppose I could throw in "YOLO" at this point, but I'd like to think I'm above that. You should be too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Recognizing B and C list actors in movies.
Playing guitar and singing (moderately good)
Letting my beard grow out
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My blue eyes or my crooked smile.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
My dogs
The constant stimulation of 21st century entertainment
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Social conventions that we don't seem to be aware of on a daily basis. I wouldn't say I am more conscious than most, but I definitely notice the little things more.

Oh, and the 90's. I have an undeniable obsession with that time period. Sometimes if I hear a one hit wonder or see a show from that decade, it gets me in a funk that I can't seem to shake. But it also makes me happy. People say its just generational bias and blind nostalgia, but I'm not sure I believe that. Things were much simpler back then, and being a kid was awesome. Instead of saturday morning cartoons, kids these days are just hypnotized by their smartphones like everyone else :/
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working, hanging out with a friend, or napping with my dogs.
