My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not going to lie - I'm only looking for friends right now, preferably artists, writers and the like.

A bit about me, I'm a practicing freelance artist looking to enter the entertainment industry (Read: not getting paid much for it), So, if you happen to be an Art Director I'd definitely love to chat you up. So by day I work corporate security... basically a receptionist with a badge.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pulling together art jobs where I can, if everything continues to go as well as it has I'll be able to become a full time freelance artist within the next year, which would quite great. Until then it's practice, practice, practice. So a majority of my time is spent honing craft, networking, and chasing down clients.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing stuff, people mostly.
and Word Searches, it's kinda like a super power.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter (of course), A Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones), Hunger Games, His Dark Materials. I've been re-reading some Robert Cormier recently. I've been thinking about getting heavy into some indie books.

Movies: The Shawshank Redemption (all-time favorite), Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Kill Bill Vol. 1... obviously a Tarantino fan, but there's so many out there that I love I'm not even going to list them all - I love pretty much all genres (with the exception of "Art Films"), as long as it has a well crafted story and/or really compelling visuals.

TV: I really don't like watching (regular) TV that much. The only exceptions are: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and House Hunters.

Anime (don't hate on it!): Off the top of my head... Toradora, SAO, K-On!, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Eureka 7, Oreimo, HTOD, Gurren Lagann, Nichijou, Samurai Champloo and sooooo many more

Manga: Love Hina, Genshiken, GTO, Bleach, One Piece, Eyeshield 21, Hajime no Ippo, Monster, Gantz, Bakuman, ...(list continues for quite a while)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from the obvious things like friends and family -

-My Wacom
-Photoshop
-ZBrush
-Maya
-The interwebs
-The crazy notion that success in the creative/entertainment industry is possible with things like hard work and dedication as opposed to luck, nepotism or a combination of both.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether the profiles I find on here are real or not...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. Either at my desk at work, or at my desk at home. Strangely enough, I find that far more enjoyable than going out to some club or bar.
