My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally from Upstate New York (near Canada upstate), which means I drag my "a's" out a little when I talk. I went to college for Illustration in New York City and I loved it; that city is a mecca for everything, literally. There are times I miss it, and times I don't...

I lived in Tucson about 10 years and then headed to California last summer. I like to be as active as possible, and the abundance of year round hiking is certainly a plus. I'm a tattoo artist and an illustrator. I'm a geek and a nerd. I try and stay busy but I rarely obsess over it, down time is just as important to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The last year has been an exciting upheaval for my artistic career.

I have been tattooing for 8 years and recently I decided I wanted to return to my artistic roots in Illustration and Comic Books. I now split my time between working on skin and working on canvas; being an artist has fulfilled a childhood dream of mine. The other is having a pet Stegosaurus. I'm still working on that one.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
seeing things logically, playing devils advocate, and improvising foods. I'm a decent parallel parker, and I can tell you many of the similarities a Deinonychus shares with the common pigeon.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I'm tall. Seriously, I've asked people and that's the first thing they usually say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Ender series, I, Robot, as well as short stories like Flowers for Algernon and Harry Bergeron. Currently working on Game of Thrones.

Movies: Planet of the Apes (the original), Serenity, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Gravity, anything Pixar

Music: I listen to almost anything. I enjoy film scores, good electronic music, Classical, Bluegrass, Hair Metal, classic Rock, Modern Rock, Celtic, you name it. Even some Country.

Food: I love a good steak. Honestly, Americana is probably my favorite food fare. I like food with good flavor (who doesn't I guess). Italian, Mexican, Thai, Indian, Greek...they're all good.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Family and Friends (my friends are family)
Art Supplies
A good book
Intellectual stimulation
Nature in some form
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
random things that pop into my head. Zeno's Paradox, Greek Mythology, my beliefs and how they are affected by modern thinking, whatever song is stuck in my head, and what's for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My Friday is the calendars Sunday, but I'm usually hanging out with friends at one of our houses watching movies, doing art, and cooking. We like to potluck.

Occasionally we'll hit downtown and go to a bar. I don't usually do loud clubs or bars though, I prefer conversation with a bit of insanity to loud thumping clubs where I can't hear you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I read comics.

something I've said intrigues you. If you're willing to jump out of a perfectly good airplane as much as you're willing to watch a cheesy flick. If you have something to say, or are curious what I have to say. If you're killing time waiting for the oven to preheat. You like the smell of a rainy day. Really, there are lots of reasons, I'll let you decide.
