My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
- I come from a family of seven kids (I'm number two), a fact that will inevitably be brought up by my dad in the first 60 seconds of conversation with someone new.

- I was born 10 weeks early at 4 pounds with a condition called Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Basically a very small part of my small intestine was dead, and they had to slice me open, and I now have a pretty cool-looking 7-inch scar across my midsection. However, all the kids at the sports camp I used to work at think it's from a fateful scuffle with a rhino from my recent trip to the African Sahari.

- I have a man-crush on Bill Burr, a hilarious comedian I discovered due to his role as Kuby on Breaking Bad. I'm a pretty big fan of stand-up comedy in general, other favorites include Jim Jeffries, Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedburg, George Carlin, Demetri Martin, Doug Stanhope, and Aziz Ansari.

- I love everything about foreign languages, especially Russian. I spend a lot of my free time learning them, and the number of new people, music, movies, and other culture that open up to you as you do it is amazing. Also, girls who speak multiple languages are pretty much my kryptonite.

- I like working out, and I'm always looking for new ways to do it. I've been a runner for years, but in the past year I've tried rock climbing, Muay Thai (kickboxing), boxing, ball-room dancing, and P90x.

- Despite last year's trainwreck of a season, I'm still a pretty big White Sox fan. It's been a pretty good off-season, so there's some hope for this year.

- One of my hobbies is debating people for fun. It doesn't have to be a serious topic either (the non-serious ones are more fun anyway!). Example topic: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure did time travel way better than the Back to the Future trilogy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I was working for a Russian startup company based in the city, but I recently left for greener pastures. Currently working in Online Marketing for an electronics firm, but I'm still building up my Russian skills and hoping to utilize my experience as a springboard for a future high-flying career working for the government (FBI maybe?) taking on the Russian mob.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Remembering all the little details people tell me, I have a pretty good memory.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to gesture with my hands a lot when talking, particularly when I'm pretty excited about something.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whenever I'm waiting for something (standing in line, sitting at the airport terminal, etc.), I like to think of elaborate escapes in the case of a zombie/ninja/Russian Terrorist attack. I quickly take note of any objects in my surrounding vicinity that could be potential weapons, and I also silently judge other people around me on whether I could count on them to help repel or escape such an attack.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to talk to myself a lot, and I'm not ashamed of it. I think of it more as "thinking out loud" anyway, and I can organize my thoughts better when I hear them. It's also a great way to practice a foreign language when you don't have someone else to speak it with at that moment. Though I will admit that my fondness for arguing has led me to having out-loud arguments with myself on occasion.
