My self-summary
I'm pretty unconventional, especially for Texas. Proud Trotskyite; likes to talk politics, economics, art, and music. I'd love to philosophize on a plethora of subjects for however long you'd like.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing plays, engaging in the dramatic arts, trying to finish my BFA. Political activism. Gardening. Playing bass guitar, singing protest-folk, rock n' roll, opera, and the blues. Drawing political cartoons. Carpentry. Welding. Sound editing/audio engineering--jack of all trades, master of none. All together, these pursuits let me pay for my meager apartment.

I like telling stories. Narrative is what I want to do with my life--animation, plays, films, music, comics, novels, etc.
I’m really good at
Making up perfectly cromulent words (general wordsmithery, really). I have a knack for picking up languages and placing accents. Words, words, words!

I've been told I'm really good at reading people. Some have accused me of possessing psychic powers, but I promise I'm just an observant writer and actor.

Kung Fu. I practice Zui Jiu Quan (Fist of Drunken Alcohol), so I guess that makes me good at keeping my balance, falling without hurting myself, and appearing drunk while sober. Superior stamina, flexibility, understanding of human anatomy, and meditation are also perks.
The first things people usually notice about me
Thousand yard stare? That I'm dripping with sarcasm? Righteously long flowing locks? Fabulous beard?

...can you have more than one first thing?

Food: I love Tex-Mex. Nothing really beats home cooking and I enjoy a nice barbeque in the park when there's time. Going out to eat tacos is always a winning decision too. Om nom nom.... Mmm... salsa verde, muy delicioso!
The six things I could never do without
1.) Literature.
2.) My Freedom. "You can't take the sky from me."
3.) Rock N' Roll!
4.) Theatre.
5.) Friendship. Life's joys are worthless unless shared with others.
6.) Love. I guess when you get down to it, all you need is love. Now that song's stuck in my head.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Jetpacks, permanent revolution, world history, class warfare, space travel/colonization, evolution, sexuality, transhumanism, philosophy, love, race relations, politics, economics, futurism, gender studies, Marxism, Rock N' Roll, giant robots, steampunk, martial arts, dystopia, Heavy Metal, TV Tropes, aesthetics, sociology, neuroscience, anthropology, genetics, linguistics... herbs...
On a typical Friday night I am
Working/afterpartying at the kickass theatre where I work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I died once. No, not metaphorically, like for real dead. Lights out, no heart beat kinda dead. ...

It's okay though, I got better.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–45
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you want to commiserate away from the prying eyes of the state and plot the destruction of the global corporatocracy that has turned us into slaves of its accursed coinage.

...or you wanna hang out and smoke and drink and karaoke and stuff. That'd be cool too.
