My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."

While I would not call myself full-on courageous at this point, I am slowly becoming who I am. But if you know an easier way to speed up the process, message me. ;-)

Or if you're feeling less serious-minded...

"Listen; there's a hell of a good universe next door: let's go."

Both quotes by e.e. cummings, a poet whose influential style of prose I'm partial.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Summer has commenced much too soon! I'm back to work already at a local Liberal Arts-based charter school in which I am teaching 2nd Grade (insert pre-pubescent screech of excitement here!).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
building my classroom library with empowering, diverse, and eclectic picture books (most of which I think I enjoy reading more than my students do).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is my "truthiness" about my height. That is, I have not exaggerated.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have lots of preferences. Thinking in terms of hierarchical favorites just happens not to be one of them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
or how I chose to list what I COULD do without instead...

Our carbon👣
🙏 Organized religion
The abuse of our second amendment 🔫
💸 The unequal distribution of wealth
Overpopulation 🚼
⏳Our short lifespans⌛️

Just to name a few that I could emote for...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to lead a more meaningful life, and what that exactly means with regards to my own personal happiness and those to whom I'm closest.
You should message me if

...you like what you read/see thus far and want to find out more, or you have a hunch we'd hit it off.

But especially if:

...a silly sense of humor does not just make you roll your eyes (ironically, considering my diet, this is one area where I say pile on the cheese, please).

...you're health conscious (no, you don't have to be vegan or even remotely vegetarian).

...you're into the arts (the more musically-minded you are, the more I want to pluck your brain).
