I like some things! I enjoy fashion, drag racing and sarcasm. Things I actually enjoy include science, the ocean, creatures, music and other stuff. The hobby that most excites me is freediving which essentially amounts to holding one's breath and swimming around under water. It's pretty rad, perhaps describing things isn't my strong point.
I work in music management, I previously wrote that it's boring but it's totally not, it actually pretty fun. That said, I'll list three things that I would like to do in inverse order of likelihood that I'll ever be able to provide myself with the opportunity to do them. These may seem dumb/fanciful/eccentric/delusional but I think you're dumb/fanciful/eccentric/delusional so there.
Things I'd like to do:
- Lead a one-way expedition to explore Mars or Venus.
- Explore an undersea cavern for the first time. Any one will do.
- Drive from Australia to England.
I'm also good at making things and discovering how things work. Sometimes the thing ends up destroyed. Usually.
I have been told that I'm an enthusiastic yet gentle soul with keen eyesight and powerful hindquarters for leaping high into trees in pursuit of my prey.
Rise Against, Woodkid, MKO, Tom Mcrae, Micah P Hinson, Incubus, La Roux, Sia, Audioslave, Gomez, DJ Shadow, You Me At Six, Magic Dirt, The Offspring (old and new), The National, John Grant.
I'm not much of a movie guy for reasons that I've never really bothered to meditate upon however I do love me some TV shows. The Wire, Sopranos, Generation Kill, American Horror Story, House of Cards, Newsroom and all 'the usuals' are something that I thoroughly enjoy however discussing TV shows at length is not really something that I'm into. I do love discussing the ideas that spring to mind with the shows as stimulus.
Let's not get started on books here, we could be going for a while.
Preferred websites are XKCD (of course), TED, Wikipedia and Guardian. I'm not a reditor but I can appreciate that others find value in such a forum. <3
On a more personal level I also think about life, love and whether or not I'm doing the right thing on my journey through the universe. I think I am. Maybe.
You'll also need to withstand the intellectual, physical and emotional rigours of my intensive vetting program. Alternatively, if you like puppies then that's fine.
