My self-summary
My friends (I asked!) would describe me as loyal, kind, intelligent, and adventurous. I'd agree with half of those ;) But I trust them, so there they are.

When I was a kid I wanted to be like Thomas Edison; an inventor. Now I am living the dream. I have my own company where I design, build and sell stuff. Its a geeky, but I like geeky. I also customize motorcycles. This falls somewhere between being a mechanic and being an artist.

I am not what you would call conventional. Except for the part about me having a job. And it's my job, which means I get to determine how hard I'm going to work, and that's very freeing. I have my pilots license, I build and race bikes, I've got a healthy passion for life, relationships, friendships and sex, and strong hands ;)
What I’m doing with my life
A few years ago I got rid of my cable TV and rely now on Netfilx streaming for good shows. I usually hear about the latest political scandal, murderous rampage, airplane crash, etc. second hand, and never watch or read or browse "the news." And I feel like I gave myself a media "cleanse" and the world is a brighter place. It gives me more time to do some personal growth, work out, play harder, and have more focus while I work.
I’m really good at
Not giving a crap. Self growth. Being an awesome dad. Procrastinating. Making short, short lists about what I'm really good at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm often stared at by people who visit my shop with the gaze of an anthropologist as I cut open an engine with a sawzall. Then they might notice my kind eyes and be slightly puzzled by the seemingly contradictory imagery.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mad Men - it's simply great drama, well written, well acted.
I love Sushi and off-the-charts spicy food. And while I love books, movies, shows music and food (and wine), they're a relatively small part of my life. I read books about self growth and spirituality. The most recent and impactful book was "The Power of Now." I get talked into reading great fiction and I find myself loving it, but I don't seek it out myself. (I LOVED "Running with scissors, my favorite.)
The six things I could never do without
1. Passion
2. My son
3. A fresh cup of coffee first thing in the morning
4. Sex
5. My smart phone
6. My tools
7. My motorcycles
Ok, so that is 7. Whatever...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about how I can learn to think less and feel more. It's a conundrum.
On a typical Friday night I am
My Friday nights are usually like all of my other nights. Sometimes hanging with friends. Sometimes battling the villains on the XBox with my son. Sometimes working. Sometimes my heart is connecting with a beautiful woman over a delicious glass of red wine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ask! I like answering this question on the second date :)
