Letting a microwave beep is kind of annoying. I'm always stopping it at 0:01.

I love doing nice things for people, especially those who I really care about. I am very good at the small things.

Peaches in the summertime, apples in the fall.
If I can't have you all the time, I don't want none at all.

I'm a skeptic and a realist. And I'm not afraid of GMOs.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a freelance audio engineer and sound designer. I do mostly film location sound and post production work.

I am heavily involved in the beer industry. I've worked in a retail craft beer package shop, brewed beer, organized a festival, and poured beer in various tasting rooms across the city.

I also build things. Pallet projects.

And I'm a musician.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning how to play your favorite song.
Making the best hummus and the best egg nog you've ever had.
Carrying all of the grocery bags into the house in one trip.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look younger than my age.
When I'm 50, I'll look 35. I'll take it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

MUSIC: Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek, Ben Sollee, Talking Heads, Beck, Donovan, Carole King, Harry Nilsson, Paul McCartney/Wings, Fleetwood Mac, Randy Newman, Roger Miller, Cake, Paul Simon, Madness, Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens, Jorge Drexler, Tom Zé, Os Mutantes, Devendra Banhart, Fiona Apple, Dead Can Dance, a lot of Brazilian music and a lot of bluegrass/folk. LOCAL BANDS: Adron, Book Club, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, Little Tybee, Oryx and Crake, Book of Colors

I have every single ticket stub from every single concert that I've ever been to since the first one when I was 13. And I once played in a band that opened for CocoRosie.

Louis CK, Carlin, Brian Regan, Louis Black, and Gaffigan.

FOOD: I love breakfast dishes, and almost anything with eggs. Huevos rancheros, lox bagels, egg and cheese biscuits from Homegrown or Sun in my Belly. I'm also a sucker for anything with grapefruit, cilantro, ginger, or avocado.

BOOKS: I read mostly non-fiction. Hawking, Sagan, Feynman. Books on fermentation. Science shit.

MOVIES/TV: I tend to prefer comedy, documentaries, cult classics, and surreal films. Almost anything Morgan Spurlock, Coen Brothers, Tarantino, Gilliam, Jodorowsky, or Monty Python. Being John Malkovich, Shaun of the Dead, Waking Life, Office Space, Amelie, Paprika, Alice in Wonderland, Koyaanisqatsi, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, Rubber, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Harold and Maude, The Princess Bride, The Prestige, Primer, August Rush, Twin Peaks
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A damn fine cup of coffee
musical instruments
my vinyl collection
avocados
laughter
questions
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why are there so many Colorado transplants in Atlanta?

And just how big IS that public health program at Emory?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Maybe out and about somewhere. Or bumming it and watching Netflix.

You're considerate, you know how to do nice things, know how to listen, and can apologize for your mistakes. Basically be a good person.

You want to share a beer, go to a comedy show, or spend an afternoon on the beltline.
