Hi! I love music and iced green tea..my all time favorite movie is The Goonies, close second is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I enjoy spoken word poetry readings and running outdoors, I'm easy going and love going out and exploring the city.

What I’m doing with my life

I will be starting graduate school this Fall in Seattle. I'm getting my Masters in Student Development Administration, basically I want to work on a college campus with students helping to encourage future leaders. I'm new to Seattle and Washington so I'm looking to meet new people who share similar interests.

I’m really good at

Being a good friend, I see relationships as two way streets and I don't take my friendships lightly. Also really good at carrying on a stimulating conversation, I like talking about the world and struggles different groups have to overcome, I really enjoy challenging conversations that cause me to look at something from a different perspective. I love playing basketball and I'm not all that bad ;).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favorite books are Slaughter House Five, Gods Behaving Badly, Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List, and any poetry by Audre Lorde.
Favorite movies are The Goonies, Cruel Intentions, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Crazy Beautiful, and Pulp Fiction.
My music taste varies and I'm always open to new things, I like some punk, some more indie stuff, alternative, and then just good classics. Top bands/musicians include: Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, Bright Eyes, Johnny Cash, Blink 182, Billy Joel, The Airborne Toxic Event, Something Corporate, Jimmy Eat World, and Matchbox 20
I love trying new kinds of food, I really like Thai food and Thai milk tea is one of my favorite drinks, I like frozen yogurt, fruit especially pineapple, humus and pita bread, and veggie burgers

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Change. I tend to self-reflect a lot, I have conversations with God when I'm alone in my car. I think about the people I care about, think about the choices I am making, what their outcomes will mean.

On a typical Friday night I am

Going out with friends, having a few drinks, dancing. Or going adventuring, I'm always up for a camping trip, a drive to the beach, or wondering around a park.
