I'm a small town guy living in the city looking for the same. Just regular guys who like guys.

Here are some things about me I'd like to share - I read before bed, listen to classical music, knit at coffee shops, draw, watch science fiction and old black and white movies. I own a lot of comic books and more than a few action figures.
I like talking to people, and watching people and making up stories about their lives. I like body contact, holding hands in public, hugs, old-fashioned (no tongue) kisses as well as new-fashioned (tongue) kisses.

I'm forgetful. I don't always keep in touch with my friends. I get grumpy when I'm hungry. I can be opinionated and stubborn. I'm impatient, don't have a steady income and I really, really hate most music.

I don't travel. I hate the process of getting on a plane. Buses are revolting. Car rides are a necessary evil. If I could be teleported somewhere that would be ideal because I really do want to see the Mayan temples one day. I travel a lot in my mind.

Physically -- I like dark haired, scruffy, guys with chest hair. I'm into slim to fit to average body types and guys within, say, eight years of my age (39), please. Basically, and this is completely narcissistic of me, but I like guys who kinda look like me.

I'm an illustrator who mostly draws comic books.

Drawing, knitting, crochet, napping, lounging, figuring out the ending of a movie and/or figuring out who's going to die next (if they show a photo of their family or tell a family member they love them they're going to be eaten by zombies/aliens/Godzilla). I think I'm a good listener and question asker. Spelling. I'm good at spelling.

I'd say - my smile, my beard, I'm skinny and that I'm wearing a hat.

Authors - Jane Austen, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, John Wyndham

Movies - Raiders of the Lost Ark, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Pride and Prejudice. I'll pretty much watch anything sci-fi, animated or adapted from a Jane Austen novel. I also like anything with monsters destroying stuff.

Shows - I don't really watch TV but online I'll check out New Girl, The Bachelor and I do try to watch Jeopardy every day to exercise my brain.

Music - Classical, movie soundtracks (especially the Pirates of the Caribbean and most anything by Danny Elfman, John Williams and James Horner), Madonna, Gaga, I've got showtunes and I'll occasionally put on disco/house just for something different.
When it comes to music I promise not to push my taste in music on you if you promise to do the same. Especially if you have a taste for anything with an electric guitar. If I could remove any instrument from the world of instruments it would be the electric guitar. And the saxophone. Those two instruments were invented to torture.

Food - Thai, stir fry (Sweet Lulu, yum), Mexican, bbq chicken and ribs, roast beef with yorkshire pudding and gravy, apple pie, strawberry rhubarb pie. I'm told I'm very British in my tastes though I have never eaten an Englishman.

Food, sleep, hugs, books...more food and naps.

How I'm not getting any work done because I'm thinking about stuff I'd rather be doing knowing that when I'm doing those other things I'll be thinking about the work I'm not getting done.
