My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello again, wacky world of online dating!
I'm originally from the great state of Massachusetts, decided to leave and come to Nashville about 3 years ago for no particular reason and haven't looked back! Well, ok, I looked back a few times, but alas, the grass was no greener (and the grass is pretty damn green here). I write and record music in my spare time, but mainly I'm a bass player. I love funny things, and being funny. Make me tell you a joke, I dare you. Oh I'm also sarcastic as hell, so be warned in case you don't get that kind of thing. I'm surprised at the amount of people I encounter on a daily basis who have absolutely no idea that what I'm saying isn't meant to be taken seriously. I also really don't take much very seriously, except for the important things. I'm tired of people making a huge deal out of trivial nonsense. I work hard and take responsibility for my actions and decisions. Ultimately I'm looking for someone to be serious with, a "partner in crime", if you will (maybe we can commit some minor crimes, we'll talk about it ;) So if you're down with all of that then great!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, making decisions about the future, finding humor in literally everything, thinking about the interconnectedness of all living things (I can get a little spacey), pretending I'm a standup comic in front of people, practicing juggling, eating and cooking ridiculous food, learning about new things, watching It's Always Sunny over and over again, finding new places to drink awesome beer (IPA's, please!), enjoying making people smile and laugh, smoking exotic herbs, etc., etc...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...you'll see ;)

sorry about that one. hehe.

I've been playing bass for about 18 years or so, so I'm pretty good at that. I would say I'm a pretty decent singer, other people seem to agree so there's that. Hmmm... I can cook pretty well...
I think I'm really good at figuring people out. I guess I'm what you would call a "good judge of character". We all share the same set of emotions, we just present them in different combinations. As long as we remember that, we can all get along!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
SO much music! I think I can find something to appreciate in almost every genre of music.
My current favorite artists out of a constantly rotating lineup of favorites are:
Blur, Jamiroquai, MGMT, Mew, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Ted Leo, Thrice, Michael Jackson.... Well that's just a start I guess, too much to think of. Can I just put ALL music?

Breaking Bad was awesome, obviously.. It's Always Sunny is amazing... The Office was pretty funny... SEINFELD.

For movies I pretty much like stupid comedies or terrible horror movies. I do love the classics though and I have a deep appreciation and love for film as an art. I've really always sort of wanted to be a film maker.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The internet, I'll say it.
Green smoke.
Chocolate milk.
Shoes?
A shower.
A place to fucking LIE DOWN AND SLEEP. GOOD LORD I WOULD DIE.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Probably too much stuff! Seriously, just talk to me and you'll know what I'm thinking. I'm pretty much an open book!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wondering why I decided not to do anything. On a non-typical Friday night I'm usually with some friends at a bar getting pretty drunk, then going back to someone's house and laughing my ass off at something stupid on youtube and then passing out in a kitchen chair with my jacket on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
