My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Art and fitness. Odd pair, but these two things sum up 90% of my waking day.

I'm a high school art teacher. Amazing job with amazing opportunities. On the side, I do freelance graphic design and apparel for local businesses.

Crossfit runs the fitness portion. I compete around the tri-state every couple months or so, and coach at the local Elizabethtown box week nights and weekends.

The other 10% is food. Lots of food. Loooooots of food.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an Indianapolis transplant still fairly new to Kentucky. Lived a little while in Louisville, then moved to Elizabethtown to be close to the school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Whistling. You don't come close. Your family doesn't come close. Your musically-talented friend, whom double majored in cello and piano, doesn't come close (they secretly started taking lessons behind your back).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Florence, Mars Volta, and a dash of Death Cab.
Currently listening to Flume, Ben Howard, and Meg Mac

As of this moment, I've started King's Dark Tower series

If you haven't seen "The Waking Life", go onto youtube and watch it right now. Seriously, stop reading my profile and go do it. If you don't find at least a little something interesting to wrap your head around, I'll send you 5 dollars, and we probably won't get along. (Note: I won't send you 5 dollars).

I'm no chef, but I can hold my own in the kitchen.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Guacamole
- Running shoes with obnoxiously bright colors
- Sarcasm
- Crock pot - basically a toaster for full meals
- Lilith, my dog that might actually just be a fox.
- Prismacolor pencils
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
In no particular order: the American education system, nutrition, how I'm going to mess with my roommate when she's out of the house, Empiricism, how many pairs of headphones my dog has destroyed, oly lifts, which death cab album I'm feeling today, etc..

Oh, and how scary sharks are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
- out exploring Louisville, maybe Lexington, or possibly Indy.
- working on my current project
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My socks never match, and it doesn't bother me.

You prefer backpacks to suitcases.

You want to throw paint at a wall-sized canvas.

You agree: sharks are terrifying.
